Went there with the whole family to have dinner and it was an amazing experience. Even with a rainy day, the atmosphere was nice and cozy. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu offered a range of variety and everyone should be able to find...something like. They also had some delicious vegan options. Our favourite dish turned out to be garlic bread, which we ordered for starters. But everything else we got - fries, fish soup, ribs, ceviche, pavlova cake, rhubarb lemonade and a green smoothie - were fantastic too. The portion sizes were proper and prices adequate. There’s a playground for the kids next to the outdoor dining area, so plenty of activity for them too. Overall, 10/10 experience for me and I recommend this little gem for everyoneMore

You have to take a day off to eat there

A slow Saturday afternoon, approximately 6-7 tables to be served. We sat outside (2 adults, 1 child). We had to fetch our own menues, but, luckily, the order was taken quite quickly. Drinks were brought in 10 minutes, but only 2 of them. My drink...took another 5 (a glass of white wine). And then the waiting started.... We ordered only a pizza, a burger with fries and some mussels, so we expected to get the food at least in 30-40 minutes. Instead, we waited for 1,5 hours. When the food finally came, there was no explanation given for the long wait and, afterwards, no one bothered to enquire about the taste. Overall impression - very poor. Won't visit again.More

Very nice place

We visited 10.10 evening Taevas. It was a nice place, i had very delicious pumpkin soup and pavlova. Service was very friendly, warm, sincere. Wish all the best for Taevas, owner and staff.

No food, no service

The place wasn't very crowded so no excuses for a busy thursday afternoon. Waited 15 minutes for the menu, got one by myself from the bar counter and then waited another 15 minutes for someone takes the order. No one came, so no food, no...service, but still got eaten, because there are nearby very good places.More

Fantastic service and food.

Fantastic service and food. Stopped there for late lunch. Waitress took order and served very quick with a smile despite place being pretty full. Cevice and duck salad was fantastic. Great choice starting from salads to mains and pizza. Outside terrace was excellet. Thanks for...the visit!More

What a nice surprise. From the street it looks a tiny cafe, but it is not so small actually. It has great choice of food that it was so hard to decide. So cosy place and good service and food was so delicious! It is...the best cafe, what I have visited in Võru. I will definitely come back there.More

Bad service

They just couldnt handle our orders. Drinks were wrong. One person got ignored... Went inside to order desserts and didnt get that but bill. They spoke english back so what was the problem? Pizza was one of the worst one I have had ever.

Nicely cooked and presented food

We were lucky to find that our accommodation looked straight across to this restaurant. We sat on a pleasant terrace and service was friendly. Food was good and well presented. I enjoyed fillet of cod in lemon butter which had been cooked perfectly and was...very tasty. A good find!More

Very interesting place

It was interesting place to go and have dinner. Good service, good food. Even a laugh from the heart was offered, when it came to dessert. Can recommend to visit place.

Cozy place and good food

We took spicy tomato sup, chicken wings and bruschetas. All dishes looked nice and tasted very good. Terrace and interior were cozy. Service good!

We expected more

The pork ribs were very greasy and coleslaw with mayonnaise that accompanied it too. Duck breast salad was just ok, the breast pretty dry and oranges not full of flavor but it's what you get in the north. Coconut shake was served without ice. Spicy...tomato soup really good. We expected more! Though the service was perfect and the location nice.More
