Have come here many times. Nice place. This time the weather is Riviera standard. Usually it’s awful and requires a rain jacket. Check the nice boutique nearby.

Located near a opening bridge (which was open so we decided to stop) with a nice park nearby. They allow pets and provide a treat and drinking cup with fresh water. You have to order on the desk. There is some waiting, but the food was good. The restaurant is in an old wooden house with nice indoor decoration.

Off the main road, just by the channel is a small "local tavern" type of restaurant but the kitchen is Gourmet quality with a local twist. You will not find Chateau wines here but excellent local Porter and great food. We had the best Blinis...of our lives served on a hot steel plate on birch plank - Delicious! The ice cream on the Fondant was also hand made "in situ". WELL WORTH A TRIP but don't let the cafe like look & feel fool you, it's the kitchen not the extra cuisinuous things that matter here (y)More

We usually visit Kanavan Kunkku at least a couple of times during the summer and never leave disappointed! Food and portions are always good in terms of taste, presentation and value for money. The food is fine even though the prices are a bit high and service not as quick as it should. The vendace (in Finnish "muikku") with mashed potatoes is perfect. For that we comeback back at least onde every summer.
