Friendly staff and tasty food. There is also a lovely gift shop attached which features locally made Sami items.

A cute place to stop in for a hot drink and a pastry after a nice adventure. They have a handicraft shop, some grocery essentials, and even a small second hand store!

Utsjoen Kylätalo Giisa is a great way to get a taste of local culture. This a meeting point of local people. The cafeteria sells local pastries. I especially loved their buns. They also have a small grocery store, a handicraft shop and a flea market. Utsjoen Kylätalo Giisa also operates as a local bus station.
Notice that at this moment the location is marked incorrectly on the map of Tripadvisor. The correct location is in the center of Utsjoki, only 500 meters from River Tenojoki. Camping Lapinkylä is situated across the street.
I loved the atmosphere of Utsjoen Kylätalo Giisa. It is so down-to-earth and small-scale. Very relaxing!
