This is a really great find in a quiet country village. The restaurant is in a big quirky tent structure, can seat about 50 people at tables of two and four. The food and service are fantastic. It was a sunny day so it was busy, we waited about 5 min to get a big shared table (waitress asked if it was OK to share) I had the chicken sandwich and my wife had mushrooms on toast. Both were quickly served even though it was busy, both were tasty beyond belief and very filling. WE had two glasses of wine (each) and two latte coffees, all for around €50. They cover Brunch until 2pm, no reservations and have a Pizza restaurant at the weekend afternoons and evenings, reservations available. This is a great local find and we will be back.

We had heard so much about here … and it truly was an experience. We had to wait 15mins for a table, 30mins later the queue for tables was very long. We put in our orders … we then had a 35min wait until the food arrived. Which lead to us having the conversation of whether we would leave it and go else where. So glad, we stayed. The food arrived and it was gorgeous. Three different dishes and each one was nicer than the next. The food and staff were so great I just hope the waiting time for a table and food, won’t make them a victim of their own success as the food and staff are worth the wait.

We have been here several times both just the 2 of us and with our 2 small children. During the warmer months, there's a lovely gated garden where the children can run around safely and you get to enjoy your incredible cakes and coffee, honestly I cant stress the word incredible enough, the food here is so good! We haven't eaten anything savoury YET so I can only review the cakes and the coffee but they are to die for! Its worth the drive to get to here, the village setting itself is beautiful. In my opinion it only lost a mark as the toilet facilities aren't great, especially for young children/babies. But I'm sure there's more plans in the pipeline for this venture, we cant wait to return!

Went finally after hearing lots about the place. Service was a bit scatty. The food was fine but seemed more about a photo opportunity than accessible. Sausage and egg dish looked lovely on paper but was swallowed up with a pot pourri of stuff. Would prefer if more focus was put on service, sugar,salt, etc, already on tables instead of having to constantly ask for each, or put a caddy with a help yourself vibe. BLT was nice, great bread,kudos, but even with a slightly overcooked fried egg didn't exactly knock my socks off. Tea arrived in a spectacular pot that I admit I would have liked to take home. Coffee was ok. Overall enjoyed it but wouldn't rush back.

Went here on a busy Saturday with my girlfriend, as its a small tent with limited seating when the weather is bad we did have to wait a while but to be honest we didn't mind as the food was worth it. Its very quirky inside & the service was excellent, I had the Eggs and Sausages, my girlfriend had a poached egg shakshuka I think its called, both very big & flavorsome. The coffee was also really good, something different in an area that I wouldn't have visited before, will definitely be back

Had brunch recently in the tent at Grangecon Cafe . Important to note seating is outdoors in a large marquee style tent. There are about 4 heaters and we were sat under one and it was lovely and warm. Menu was mouthwatering . We had a hard time choosing what to order but settled for pancakes . The coffee arrived lovely and hot but the food which did take a long time to arrive (we didn’t mind this as were in no rush) could have been warmer . Service was excellent . Parking easy enough to find outside . I would come back again but very busy and you would need to be ok with slower food service .

Went to grangecon kitchen with my friend after hearing good reviews about the place through other mutual friends, we went for brunch and instantly loved the place, not only was the vibe really nice but the food was also really really tasty! I got the sausage on sourdough and my friend got the Turkish eggs, we will definitely return! I think next time for a Friday evening meal 👀

We went to the takeaway to get coffees after noticing the long queue. We were assured that it should be emptying out soon but it was a long wait followed by a long wait for food. All of this while annoying could be forgiven for the excellent food but to have to queue to pay again was a step too far! This place needs to organise itself better. Such a pity as the food was really lovely.

Called in for lunch today. What a lovely quirky and friendly place. The food was amazing. We had John's Breakfast , Mushrooms on toast and the Sunday Roast sandwich. Everything was lovely, very tasty and fresh. Homemade raspberry juice was also amazing.
Will try to get back for the Friday evening menu.

We called in here for brunch. Interesting menu and lovely food. There is some free off road parking outside. We had a small wait to get a table although we left there was a much bigger wait. The restaurant is a teepee style tent. Service was a little slow but it was well worth the wait. We loved our food here.

This place is excellent. Lovely food. Great service. Outdoor dining area in tepee. Great all round for just coffee or snacks. Highly recommend. Great for lunch or afternoon tea. Good quality good.

Had breakfast here and was absolutely amazing as always. Good to arrive early as it fills up quickly owing to its popularity. We had the pancakes and Turkish eggs. Both delicious and generous. Will be back again!

This is a lovely spot and I have been a few times.However,today I had to queue outside for 45 minutes for a table so unfortunately this has put me off coming again.Sorry!

Visited grangecon kitchen for brunch with friends. The place it’s self is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed our food in their outdoor heated tent. Both staff and food were lovely, would definitely return.
