You can go and buy the home made canudinho cone, as well as a delicious doce de leite to fill it up and serve at home. This is a traditional brazilian desert that everyone loves. Unpretencious place, family run, with delicious canudinho stuff.

Best fried pastry stuffed with their own dulce de leche... Don't waste your time with the others, focus people! Also, don't forget to buy some ripe papaya sweet, kind of like a papaya jam. Goes well with everything.

My family stopped by Chico's (after we had already had lunch elsewhere) to grab some sweets. I'm fine with hole-in-the-wall places, but this is the most whole in the wall place I've ever been to. In a word, it was ghetto. Super ghetto actually. Bare-bones empty except for a small counter and two tables. You could easily fit more tables,... More

This hídden store sells one of the best homemade Minas Gerais sweets. The Dulce de leche and little cone stuffed with Dulce the leche is unbelivable. There is no place to sit. It is quite impossible to try just one sweet.
