I've only visited here once. It was a while ago now, back when they done the buffet on a Sunday. On my first plate, about 30 seconds into it, I round a large lump of glass, thick glass like off a jar. I motioned for the waiter to come over, he apologised and advised me to just get another plate.... More

We went for the "Happy hour" specials. Took a bit of working out, but very good value with large portions, freshly cooked. Service was a little slow, but the restaurant was fairly busy, due to the special offers I suppose. Not all staff were as friendly as could have been, but overall an enjoyable experience. (apart from music being rather... More

When it was spice talk the food was very good could not complain since it has changed name they must have changed the chef. Food has got very poor it's greasy the nans are not cooked through chips portions have got smaller. Will be looking for a new Indian restaurant.

This used to be Spice Talk but is now Light of Asia We booked a table for our father's 70th Birthday for 7 people, the person who took the booking asked if we would like the table decorated with balloons which we had said yes, which we thought was very thoughtful. We turned up and no booking showing, no table... More

As far a curry goes I feel it gets no better. Every dish has its own flavours which may sound daft but many Indian restaurants all taste the same. Very friendly and the prices make it easy take the family out instead of ordering take out. Thanks lads keep up the good work

I like Asian food, I really do, but here it is very, very oily and everything is heavily coloured. I can understand natural colours such a Turmeric, Saffron, Tomato paste etc. are added, which add to the flavour of the food. Why it is necessary to add colours to rice to make it rainbow coloured with every colour except blue... More

Me and my partner went to Light of Asia on a Wednesday evening and it was dead. We were the only people in there... Which I didn't mind The seats are comfy and the tables were nicely laid. The interior is very nice. The ceilings have a slow glow of changing LED lights and they play quiet Indian music. We... More
