I had a ploughman's and a pint and both were superb. Pity I was driving ! Even the dog was welcome. I like Bishop's Castle !

We visited the Three Tuns on the 5th June for drinks and then decided to stay for dinner. The beer was amazing and so was the food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely come here again. Thanks

Unfortunately didn’t get to eat here, but it was recommended as a pub to visit in town. Wasn’t disappointed, tried three of their beers, brewed on site, the stout, Cleric’s Cure and XXX, all were very good, well worth a visit to sample these. Nice...More

Surpassed expectations. Even though we had preordered, the food arrived in a timely manner and every dish looked scrumptious, beautifully presented, hot...as well as being excellent value.

The famous and historic Three Tuns Inn, (known locally as 'The Tuns') set at the top of Bishops Castle has been open since 1642! A deceptively large interior offers lounge, conservatory, snug, front bar and function room. Standing on the site of the oldest licensed brewery in the U.K, The Tuns offers modern eclectic cuisine using simple locally sourced ingredients in a happy, friendly, bustling environment and of course serves a wonderful array of real ales from the on site brewery. Pub and brewery are now separate businesses, but work very closely together to help create a truly worthwhile and memorable visit to this hidden gem of a market town, hidden away in the Shropshire hills, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.
