We visited Big Ben for the second year in a row, First year we stayed in Valtournenche so no big deal we eat their twice. food is amazing, atmosphere and staff fantastic.This year we stayed in Zermatt and after a couple days of Swiss cuisine, we really started craving for BIg Ben Pizza for lunch and praying for the wind to slow down. Finally the Italian side opened and we made it to Big Ben for a delicious lunch of Pizza, Calzone and even a spaghetti carbonara (which was not on the menu, but they made it anyway)
Food and service is the best, (thank you Miko!) the Pizza is amazing, one of the walls in the restaurant is decorated with a lot of awards for the Pizza's they make.
If you're in Zermatt and the Italian side is open, Big Ben is a must to have lunch. The Ski bus from the Valtournenche ski terminal stops in front of the door. Round trip Furi- Valtournenche including lunch about 3 -4 hrs. We find it well worth the effort.

A ski bus down the road from Cervinia in Valtourneche we visited this fantastic pizza restaurant having decided to see the Christmas market in the square.
Though a bit put off by the name and outdoor lighting we decided to give it a go.
They kindly fitted us in without a pre booking but we did not feel at all rushed knowing they had another booking a few hours later.
Our waiter was fantastic and the lady manager very kind in letting us use the outdoor seating area to wait for our cab to take us back to Cervinia.
Definitely the best pizza we had in the area and much better value than in Cervinia itself.
Lovely Italian ambience inside the restaurant with a hint of 'London' Italian about it.

We visited this restaurant every other evening on our recent visit from Wales. The food is exceptional and on those rare evening when we couldn’t finish, food was boxed up to go. The chef need a special mention! Fredrico, Valentine and the third waiter (sorry can’t remember his name!) were fantastic! We shared our jokes with them and they were very patient as we practised our Italian! Please book in advance as you may be disappointed. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for making our week so fabulous.

The managers of this establishment have no clue how to run a proper restaurant. Despite the fact that we had made a reservation they made us wait for 45 minutes before giving us our table. After sitting down we were made to wait another 45 minutes before anyone took our order. They then told us that the pizzas we wanted would take another 30 minutes. At this point we left.

We stumbled upon Big Ben on our day of arrival in Valtournenche and we were so glad we did. All the staff were amazingly friendly and made our large group feel so welcome. The pizzas we excellent , fresh toppings, huge and thin and crispy. The place inside had a real traditional feel.

With such great staff, atmosphere and food what more could you ask for?! Our group dined here several times during our stay in the village, the staff even remembered our drinks order! We had great evenings. Was told they will be refurbishing for next season, we all hope they do not lose the traditional,cosy feel too much. Highly recommended indeed.

Cozy and pleasing atmosphere.
Staff were really nice and courteous.
Great for a family or dinner date.
Really enjoyed Giuseppe’s enthusiasm ( waiter ).
Pizzas were big and delicious, they are worth the price.
I’d really recommend it if you are in the area.

I really don't like people teasing me. I ordered a steak with mushrooms and got only meat. because reporting the problem, the staff just shrugged their shoulders. price to be paid as for a full meal. I do not recommend! there are better places around!!

Attracted here by the reviews. Booked in advance. Fair to say the service was diffident from the start. Put on a table in the middle - fair enough. But with someone sat in the aisle whose back was touching the table. And then ignored for 15mins. No drinks. No menu. Food was amazing when it arrived - 4 stagioni was v good. A little soggy in the middle but beautiful flavoursome pizza. Son had the volcano- chefs pot luck. The chef chose v well. Amazing pizza. Birra moretti all round was v refreshing. Reasonable price.

This restaurant is permanently closed. It does not exist anymore. It is a shame as it was a very good restaurant when we have been in the area in the past.
