Visited in Oct 2022. Ordered the mix kebab, the food was exquisite, cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender and the portions incredibly generous. Excellent value for money and the service was above and beyond!!

Have eaten at O Barril now for many years when on our twice yearly trip to the Algarve. We look forward to renewing our friendship with Ricardo, 'Panda the Chef' and all the staff. The food and atmosphere is always excellent and OBarril is a...very popular place and very busy. Staff are efficient and always with a smile. What can I say. Wow wow wow. This restaurant is absolutely off the scale, the food is absolutely gorgeous. We visited a few times during our stay and each time were even more impressed. The restaurant is so busy, but the service is excellent. The...staff work and work so hard. The manager and owner was always there, getting involved and helping out. He was pleasant and polite and took the time to speak to customers which was great to see. I could tell that the staff were a team and felt valued. From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed and loved the atmosphere. Ricardo was phenomenal and his wine recommendation was excellent. The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is friendly and efficient. The entrees are varied and tasty. There is ia large choice of starters, main meal and desserts are beautifully cooked and presented. There is a large choice of fine wines too....We have had some lovely evenings and lunchtimes here. Our first night in Ferragudo we went here, it was very busy and they were able to fit in a family of 4. It was relaxed, no rush which was good but not if you're hungry. The food was prepared well and to our enjoyment,...my daughter is very fussy and they accommodated her needs Raul, in particular was fun, friendly and helpful. My son tried is first ever after dinner strong spirit fig fire water.....ha ha worth the watch. Highly recommended but do try and book first if you can.More

Fantastic evening meal - beautiful fresh fish and lovely, friendly waiters. Great musician to accompany the food - great atmosphere!
