well located in the town square for atmosphere. great for pasta and pizza. also had chicken cooked on a stone. good value.

My wife and I are visiting Ferragudo for the 7th time in the past decade. During each of our most recent visits, we have made sure that we have dinner at least once at the Italia Restaurant as the service, quality of food and value...have always been excellent. During this visit, my wife ordered a pizza and I ordered the Penne Arrabbiata. My wife enjoyed her pizza but unfortunately, my Penne Arrabbiata lacked the 'spicy flavour' I was hoping for. Arrabbiata means “angry” in Italian. As the sauce is fiery and hot in taste, the dish came to be known as arrabbiata. My dish certainly was not angry; in fact, the dish was quite calm and congenial. Aside from this element, we found the service to be excellent as well as the value. We most likely will return for another meal, but I will most likely opt for a pizza instead.More

Very slow service. We ordered pasta arribbaca. Which was basically a tomato sauce on ready made pasta. Not sure how this was ranked number 2.More

Ate here with my family, food was average at best, had a pizza & carbonara (portion is tiny) & not very good at all We also had the antipasti for two for starters & were massively underwhelmed by this also!! Excellent selection of food we especially liked the ‘on the stone’ meals where you can cook your food at the table ! Lovely and fresh , inside the premises was impeccably clean. Location is amazing in the centre of Ferragudo in the square.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Ferragudo, the pizzas are really good and there’s a good selection of drinks, wine and beer. There are other options than pizzas, all of which looked very nice. The staff were all working really hard and...yet were friendly and courteous, good customer service and also both nights we went it was very busy with some live music on the square, great atmosphere, would definitely return.More

If you're staying in this area this restaurant is an absolute must, the waiters and manager are incredibly friendly and accommodating. My mother is allergic to fish and the restaurant accommodated this 100%. Not to mention, the food is bloody lovely! Everything is well cooked...and tastes amazing, an absolute must for dinners, whether that be alone, with friends or family. I personally reccomend the lasagna or the 4 cheese pizza.More

Set in the little village square we found this great restaurant which served excellent food supported a by a super friendly team who were always checking with us to ensure we were OK, definitely one to recommend.

We visited this restaurant for lunch. Service was very good and the food even better. Seafood that tasted so fresh. Don’t be put off by it’s name. They do have a range of pizza and pasta dishes, but have plenty to offer besides. My son...had Salmon on a Stone. The salmon came sizzling on a hot stone and finished cooking at the table. A real party piece. Try the sardines - awesome!More
