Called in one Sunday morning whilst cycling and in urgent need of a brew and beans on toast. Service was quick and friendly. Delicious doorsteps of bread and loose leaf tea both got my vote. My friend declared the poached eggs on toast “the best”....More

Serving mostly baked potatoes and sandwiches for lunch, plus cakes and tray bakes for tea, this cafe is homely, not cramped and usually has a nice fire going in winter. Service is attentive while understated, you order at the counter and food is brought promptly....More

A much needed warm drink and cakes after our wet and windy walk on New Years Eve. This café was a haven of warmth and we enjoyed our visit

Stopped here for a coffee before heading Out for a long walk. Coffee was excellent and the waitress helped us with our directions. Good spot for watching people milling around in the village too. Very friendly and welcoming.

Popped in for coffee and mince pies. Grey haired chap behind the counter didn't even greet us,just took order, no please or thank you and certainly no Christmas spirit. Felt so unwelcome, over priced for what we got. Won't go back there again!
