Steven’s Bar-B-Q Restaurant (Steven’s) is a casual, family friendly restaurant in Markdale. Look for Steven's off Highway 10 at the south end of Markdale (195 Toronto Street South). Servicing the Markdale area for over 40 years, it currently offers dine-in, take-out, curbside pickup, and outdoor seating experiences. I had the "Steve's Burger" last weekend (7 ounces of ground sirloin topped with mozzarella cheese and two slices of bacon) for $9.99, and it was fantastic. It came with a choice of potato (fries mashed potato, or baked potato), a garden salad, or the soup of the day for an extra $3.49 (or any two for $5.99). I opted for the fries and was not disappointed. Steven's is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 in the morning until 8:00 at night (9:00 at night on Fridays and Saturdays). Not sure about the food at this place but the owner is an absolute psycho. Yelling and swearing at random strangers for walking on his grass. Shameful and totally not warranted.

Stopped for lunch, had the sandwich special which was Montreal smoked meat and had with fries, also had the chicken noodle soup. The soup was homemade and delicious, sandwich was large portions and tasty and the fries were good.
