Happily surprised by the overall quality of the pizza at this restaurant. Portions are generous and there are lots of toppings. Take out only. You can also rent DVD.

Love Big Cheese

BIG CHEESE PIZZA

Only pizza joint in Markdale so they have the monopoly. That being said they have good pizza if you ask rhem to fully cook it. The prices are a bit much...but people pay it because they are the only pizza place for miles.

a bit biased..

Okay - I will admit I worked at Big Cheese for 6 years. However, that doesn’t change my mind that this is THE BEST pizza. The owners have changed, and the new owners have taken some creative liberty with the ordering system, pricing and the...addition of some new items. But the crust is handmade daily, all ingredients are prepared on site and theres a unique blend to the sauce 😍 Yes they don’t deliver, but that never stopped people from driving all over the country for a slice.More

love the Canadian Pizza

The pizza has a chewy tasty crust- toppings are generous and they have a good selection of toppings- the price is reasonable

Great pizza but a bit expensive.

They have the monopoly in the area so I guess they can charge higher prices. The pizza is very good. Not the greatest hours though.

The Best Pizza I Have had for a long time!

A friend suggested we get a pizza from Big Cheese Pizza....well.....It was so delicious! The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was really, really yummy. I don't think I could ever eat a commercial pizza after having one of these. I live at Blue Mountain...and if I wanted as pizza i would drive there just to get one!More

Great pizza

This is the best pizza in Grey County. Love the sauce and cheese. We have tried other pizzas in the area, but always go back to Big Cheese. We have this pizza almost every Friday. This is take out pizza only.

Love this pizza.

I will not compare to any other restaurant, to avoid bias; however, when in Markdale craving a pizza or a slice, this is the place to go. As a non chain pizza place it has to be be one of the best that I've ever...had, especially having been to so many throughout my lifetime. Not to mention that pizza is one of my favorite foods.More

Small town gem

We recently moved to this area and haven't found a local pizza place yet but I think we've found a gem in this place. We've only tried it once but it was really good pizza and could hold its own against any pizza from a...place in a larger city! We'll be back.More
