Visited for a quick dinner with a colleague in a short business trip to Denmark. Lovely location at the harbour, I'm sure it's perfect on a warm night. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great when we visited so had to site inside where it quickly became...More

The Captain is one of the restaurants in the long row along Rungsted Marina - excellent location, beautiful views, summer/vacation feeling pure. Nice, comfortable deck chairs with warm blankets - good preparation of a cosy stay. The service is friendly and efficient. We were there...More

Nice location by the harbour. Good selection for lunch. Lovely 'light' prawn dish, fresh salad. Reasonably priced. BUT oh dear, the indifferent service. Hardly a murmur or smile from any of the staff....unless they know you.(from observing their behaviour with other tables).

Lovely location, great steak (though lacked a little salt - easily fixed with the table salt!) and good beer. Would recommend.

This is one of the places that I would have eaten quite a bit when I working in Denmark. It is popular so don't expect to turn up and get a table straight away in high season. Denmark is not cheap, so this is not...More

Went there for take out and was recommended the Captains Burger, which I chose. Service minded personnel and nice environment, not classy or posh. The food took a little while, but then there were plenty of guests so I didn't mind. The burger was really...More
