We had dinner at this wonderful little place twice. Alojera is a very quiet place, far away from everything. None the less, this is what makes this place so special. The menu is all about seafood - freshly caught and delicious. Add the seaview and you have a very experience for much less than you would pay in another location... More

We stayed in the apartment next door and eat here 3 times. We found the restaurant a real treat. Excellent, reasonably priced food, range of local wines, friendly staff. No frills or pretensions just good food and plenty of it. At first sight it looks like a local bar but if you are in the area and can cope with... More

After being persuaded to drive for what felt like hours on ridiculously twisting roads by my father-in-law we arrived on a rainy day in this un touched localised area of La Gomera! The landscape was dramatic and rugged and walking down to the sea I felt there would be little chance of lunch let alone a special lunch!!! We saw... More

After taking an epic, stomach churning drive down an even more precipitous road than is typical of La Gomera (which is not for the faint hearted!) in search of another restaurant that no longer exists apparently, we had a meal here, the only restaurant in the village. We asked for a selection of fish and seafood which was nicely cooked... More

We enjoyed the atmosphere outside on the 'patio' (alley way) with 5 cats entertaining us playing on the tiled staircase and a bit of ocean view. Should have known better, but ordered a tuna salad. Within an hour had the flushed face, headache etc.: scombroid poisoning. Sorry, but it is what it is.

Alojera beach is a small beach, but was breathtaking in the winter morning with the waves crashing against the sea wall. Prisma is tucked away in a corridor, with tables outside that are warm enough. The fish is extremely fresh and tasty and the service is lovely. Note that they are closed on Wednesday's - perhaps they are closed another... More

..... and the menu got changed after the fish arrived. My brother had heard of this restaurant reputated for serving the freshest fish you can imagine, and being hidden on a marvelous old-movie-style beach; Indeed, the Alojera "port" was build a hundred years ago (?..) hoping to create a good base for fishery, in a natural but very wild bay...
