Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Great Italian food in a gorgeous location beside the canal. We had spaghetti with clams and lasagne and both were superb. Prices were very reasonable. The setting coupled with the quality of the food made this a very enjoyable lunch. This was no frills tasty Italian food and very welcome after a couple of disappointing experiences in Venice.

Just what we needed after a cold, wet boat trip to the island. Welcoming and warm. Good food. Good pricing. I had the cod with polenta.

Needed a warm drink on our visit to Murano. This small cafe met our needs with some reasonable prices. Americano coffee was hot and pleasant.

We arrived here on the recommendation of a murano blog. It was awful from start to finish. It's like something out of the 1970s in decor and food. First we were told off for a child leaving their hat on the table then shown to a back room with horrible decor and no atmosphere. We had cod 3 ways and cod with tomatoe sauce. The 3 way cod was horrible cold white sludge, lukewarm grey sludge and red sludge. The fish was wretched. The polenta was bland and cold. The service was uninterested at best. The bill was high. There are a lot more interesting places on murano than this!

We went for a trip to Murano, and didn't expect to eat amazing food but expected to enjoy the food. Yes the prices are fine but we ordered 2 pasta dishes and both were bland, and a bit cold. Disappointed.

Absolutely abysmal service. Waiter swore in Italian behind our backs. Food was poorly made mass-produced facsimiles of Italian classics. Over-priced and NOT worth the visit

Spaghetti was good and enough, but cod with polenta was small portion and cod was dried out. Cheap but not a good experience.

Good prices, location and staff! Good views. It is a nice place to eat! They accepted card for purchase higher than 13€ and they have tables outside!

Venice is beautiful but it was lovely to escape the crowds and come to relaxed Murano for the afternoon . This restaurant was a great place to eat. Setting was lovely on the pavement alongside a small but active canal. I enjoyed fried squid and polenta with a fresh mixed salad (needing a change from pasta and pizza!) . What a treat! My family fancied carbonara and spaghetti bolognaise and they were very happy too. We had to have tiramusu for dessert and that was astoundingly good ! One of my favourite meals in Italy, provided with very friendly service. Definitely recommended.

We were visiting Murano and needed a bite. We stopped at this place because it was crowded, usually a sign of good food. Well, we guessed wrong. While the staff was friendly and professional, the food was mediocre at best, bordering on outright fudge on menu descriptions. I had one of their house dishes: spaghetti with scampi and vegetables. When the plate arrived, the food was hot and smelled ethereal, but it ended at the tip of the fork. Scampi? Only one that was so tuff it was nearly inedible. There were some vegetables in the dish, and a few claws and legs from the supposed other scampi that scurried away from the lackluster tomato sauce! I guess when I ordered the house classic, I should have understood that scampi really weren’t part of the dish. The other guest ordered a mixed seafood plate. It also looked like have the seafood escaped into the lagoon. They were few shrimp, a couple pulpo, a slice of lemon, and little else. A real rip off! Run from here to some of the other establishments.

Wondering around Murano and husband needing a rest from the jewellery shops decided to stop for a quick lunch stop which then turned into a long stop! No time to reference TA we ‘chanced’ it! Really good - food was lovely, house wine good, friendly staff and cheap 😃 I then checked it out in TA and it had good reviews - would recommend 😃

All of our family (7 people) had lunch at al Corallo. My wife had seafood ravioli which she asked me to mention as wonderful. I had a very simple dish - pasta al pesto. Simple and excellent. Probably the best pesto I have ever tasted. The other customers were mostly Murano locals who knew the staff well. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I hope to visit again.

Al Corallo is a really lovely, family-run trattoria on the Fondamenta Del Vetrai, the main drag on Murano. I had lunch there - it was packed - and was the only non-Italian in my section of the restaurant. I had sarde in saor followed by grilled sole and chips and all were delicious. The fish was very fresh and really well cooked and the chips crispy and well drained. Although the restaurant was very busy, the waiters were friendly and efficient and the service was excellent. Lunching in Al Corallo was a really enjoyable experience and I recommend it for both lunch and / or a morning coffee if you are visiting Murano.
