We came to this restaurant because one of the staff in our hotel comes here weekly to have seafood. The most impressive part is the owner of this restaurant - he loves food and especially seafood! That is probably why he offers the best food to his customers. We was planning to have a quick lunch only, but we saw... More

When I see a "menu turistico" board outside a restaurant it does tend to put me off, but actually this was pretty good. Not "haute cuisine" (or cucina alta!) but nicely prepared authentic Italian food. I had lasagna and my wife had spag ragu to start then we both had the grilled sole. Nice start to a long weekend in... More

Despite all empty tables in the visible part of the restaurant on a very quiet Thursday night in late October we were disappointed to be told we could only have a table if we ordered dinner. We were a family of 4 requesting desserts having admired them in the display near the door and noting how quiet the restaurant was.... More

Quieter than Venezia proper. Real local foods and wines. It was recommended by my cousins husband, and he was right. The only downside were the aggressive pigeons. Stick to local cuisine and you can't go wrong.

Positioned in a square and great food - best spaghetti vongole during Venice stay - and service. If you are looking for a good pit stop and reasonable meal on Murano this is best option though the kitchen is apparently only open for lunch.

Excellent sea bass. Excellent service. The server was attentive the food was a little slow but worth the wait . Good menu. Sits on a canal.

I'm sure that on a warm sunny afternoon, the large square and exterior is even more attractive, but the warmth of the greeting and scents of food were more important while escaping a downpour. Considering the expense of wine in many locations, the cost of a bottle of Prosecco, shared caprese and two mains (including the dreaded cover and service... More

Dropped in for morning tea. Coffee and cake. A bit pricey but ok. Plenty of room to sit outside and inside. Lots of staff on duty.

Had a great lunch. Food was very good, as well as the service. Wine is also very affordable. The owner came over, he speaks French, English and Italian. A 17 generation Venetian great place to stop after a walk in Murano.

Read about it and glad we looked it up. Friendly staff who appreciated my small amount of Italian! Fantastic food. Fish and pasta. Relaxed and just what you want. Oh and a big friendly owner!
