Really poor service, food was mediocre with a long wait. Waiters where unfriendly, throwing around tables and ignored us on multiple occasions. The price was expensive for the quality of food and location wasn’t that pretty.

We came here after a tour to one of the glass factories. As a family with small children the staff were kind and hospitable and we were seated promptly. The let down was the pasta. Relatively small portion sizes and really lacked good fresh flavours....Prices a little higher than other restaurants we felt. We didn’t bother with desert as the pasta was not very tasty. Carbonara was poor. Lasagna was okish. Overall I don’t think I would come back.More
We shared spaghetti with shrimp and a tomato based sauce and a salad. It tasted delicious and was a perfect portion for two.
The food was fine. But it just seemed that everything cost a little bit more than it should and the service took a little bit longer than it should. This was lowest-rated restaurant on our entire 2 week trip in Italy. I realize this isn't...entirely fair, but the vibe was completely off. I felt like I was being taken advantage of in slow motion.More
We have been to Busa alla Torre many, many times and the food is always excellent and the freshest available anywhere. The chef/owner, Gabriele Masiol-a/k/a "Lele il Rosso" makes sure each and every dish is perfect and as good as it can possibly be. My...personal favorite is the Molecci tiny fried crabs. They are the freshest and tastiest at this restaurant. My husband loves the various clam pastas served. Sometimes with small traditional clams and other times with the tiny Periwinkle/butterfly shell clams. And the Granseola crab is the best in Venice! Everything about Lele and his staff and food are THE best! Can't wait to return.More
Poor quality food. Pasta was uncooked and the cotoletta was plain and bland. Also they add coperto and 12.5% service charge too. A total scam.
This was our first trip to Murano in 10 years. We were looking for a lunch spot and realized we had eaten here on our previous trip. A table was available! We ordered the tourist menu for 15.5 euros so was very reasonable. I had...the pasta pomodoro and it was fantastic. My salad was fresh and crisp. Sadly my grilled sole was very dry and overcooked but the location, service and other 2 courses were excellent so I stand by my 5 star rating. My husband is celiac and they had excellent gluten free pasta and even gluten free crackers. It was a wonderful day in Murano with a lovely lunch in a beautiful setting.More
Booked a few weeks in advance as I have been a few times previously, but this time very very disap¹pointing. When we asked for cheese for the pasta Al fungi we were offered 2 packets of parmesan! I have lived in Italy for the past...4 years and NEVER EVER been offered Parmesan in a packet! Acceptable in a motorway roadside eatery NOT in a Michelline Stared restaurant! Very disappointed by the service also. I realise its the end of the season, however it should be the same as at the start...... I need to find a new go to restaurant as I won't be returning. Sorry.More
We had a very disappointing and overpriced lunch at this restaurant. The service was absolutely awful, we were mostly ignored. The ravioli was unpleasant and when asked for Parmesan to cover the taste the waiter forgot to bring it. The steak was dry. Starter of...Parma ham and melon was nice though. For the number of tables the staffing level felt reasonable so we just felt the staff didn’t care. The cover charge and 12% service charge are really outrageous for that experience. Avoid is our advice.More
We have been fortunate to dine here on many visits to our beloved Venice. This great restaurant is consistently great. It's located in a lovely small campo in Murano, a short vaparetto ride from Venice. On every visit, we order spaghetti vogole (clams) in a...simple oil/garlic sauce and grilled branzino, with herbs/lemon. The staff always fillets the full fish for me and they are skilled at doing so. Started with a large plate of prosciutto and melon. Great local wines, great people watching. Take your time and enjoy! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Very reasonable prices.More
This meal was one of the best of my trip. It was very high quality and unique to Venice with many seafood pasta dishes. They had other alternatives as well for non-seafood costumers that were also incredible. This restaurant had outdoor seating on a small...square that was interesting to observe during the meal. The service was a bit slow, but the waiters friendly and patient.More
Very disappointed. Food was good but cold for each dishes (calamari à la romana, pasta). It was very busy so we waited for a very long time. I would not recommend it.
Excellent food, lovely location on Murano. Would fully recommend a visit. We had an excellent meal and they looked after us so well.
Recommended by my guide, I arrived for lunch on a beautifully sunny afternoon. Since all the tables outside were full, I was the second table seated inside. This was really great luck, as Lele was my waiter. I explained in my best Italian that I...didn't feel like pasta and I wanted some fish. Lele took care of the rest, after bringing by a platter of fresh Branzino. Of course I selected one that he grilled for me. A mini-antipasti of three instead of the usual six, followed by some spicy mussels, and then the Branzino. I have had Branzino many times, but never this good or fresh. After my meal I talked with Lele. He explained to me his connection to fire fighters and New York City. He's a really great guy with a big heart. The food reflected that and it was a meal I won't forget.More
We stumbled upon this restaurant in Murano, and chose to eat here because of the Michelin Star stickers in their window. I'm so glad that we did - the food was fabulous! The gnocchi was especially delicious, really tender and flavorful. We also had the...Caprese appetizer and absolutely loved it. We felt the space was a little crowded and the waiters less attentive than other places we'd been to, so that is the only reason we aren't rating it five stars.More
