Met a work colleague for lunch at the Swan, promising menu and nice food but didn't quite match expectations ravioli starter of pasta was bit too "al dente" and the lentils with the cod slightly undercooked so slightly crunchy as well.

We had a nice time at the Swan, enjoying some nibbles and beer. The staff is really friendly, the drinks are good and nothing wrong with the food.

There seems to have been a change of style at the Swan lately & my opinion is that it hasn't been for the better. There is an unwelcome air of over-commercialism. This, possibly, is underlined by the paucity of lunch diners at the time of...More

A new upgraded dining room and different menu. The pub next door is being converted into an Italian restaurant by the same group. Well worth eating here, with superb wine list. Excellent quality food
