We ate very well at this restaurant. We suggest you try the Pappardelle al Cingiale. It was deliscious. The staff was nice and the ambiance was great

This is a nice restaurant, efficiently run and with excellent quality food, set in a remote setting between the forest and the farm animal. Pizza was very nice and the service was equally good and professional. definitively recommended.

We visit this restaurant on a Friday and then all meat is prepared and the grill. It is not possible to have pizza this day. (Same goes for Tuesday) The food was great and if the steak is a little to red they give it i minut more on the grill. No one speak English so communication is a bit... More

How often do you walk in to a restaurant and a local brings in a crate of wild porcini mushrooms that they gathered from the woods? I had a side of porcini mushrooms that was outstanding. The food is excellent, home cooked, and the pasta dishes are made with fresh pasta. The lunette pasta, a stuffed pasta dish with truffles,... More

Celebrated my 70th birthday with dinner here with lots of friends and relatives. In a very small village, about 20 minutes from Siena near Sovicille and Ancaiano. The fagotinni was one of the best pasta's I have ever had, and the owner gave us the recipe! Check out their website

We had visited Nonno Giulio 2 years and 4 years ago and the standard if anything has improved. The setting is out in the woods with good parking. We had an excellent Tuscan meal with an antipasti starter, followed by Stinko,Ossobuco, Rabbit and Ravioli. The range of wines was good and the service friendly. Prices are reasonable. Our meal cost... More

This is average for tuscany. The food was ok, but noth expectional Probably pizza is the best choice. Popular place for locals. Seating was somewhat uncomfortable due to the many insects (in the middle of the woods, terrace lighting). Also, they tried to charge us 4 times 4.70 EUR coperta (instead of the 1.7, mentioned on the menu), which was... More
