We chose to visit here for our “last night” even though we were half board in our hotel!! Wow!! I am so glad we did. Service was first class and the staff know all there is to know about the menu. We had tapas for two as did our friends. And other friends had the salad to start! All beautifully presented, and so tasty!! Our main courses were a mix of burgers, meatballs, sausages and braised fillet and they were all divine!!!! All of the meals were so so tasty, 6 clean plates!! I cannot recommend this place highly enough.... do not be put off that they don’t take reservations, they will accommodate you fairly quickly and there is a waiting area!! Everything is centred around the family’s reindeer herd, including the skins decorating, the antlers, - if you genuinely want a local meal, and for the money to go a local family run business rather than a multi national then a visit here is a must!! Keep doing what you are doing guys!! It’s fantastic!!!

Niliporo We have eaten in most (if not all) restaurants in Levi. But... this restaurant is different. Good or bad is a personal choice. The dressing is old school traditional with Reindeerskins, horns and tools. Not unlike an Austrian village herberg. I like the dressing. Tables: not that much and you cannot make a reservation. Good! Both locals and international guest enjoy the Sami dishes. We ordered : Reindeer soup, the best I had. Ever. Reindeer tapas. Very good. Reindeer filet, rare. Seriously tasteful a delicacy. Salad with Reindeer. All in all about 80€ Two beers and two wine made the total ~130€ I recommend.

We wanted to try something typical from the area and by chance end up here. Exquisite meal ! delicious !!! the soup that they advertise was as, or even better than my favorite entrée back home (France). Just follow the advice of the lady that welcomes you there (you can't miss her she looks like Elsa from Frozen we are going back tonight so i'll probably leave her name on my next post) she will gives you very good advice to have a delicious exquisite meal !! The dish for 2 was quite good (the reindeer) i still prefer the soup but that one was also good! The dessert that we chose was not really of my taste to be honest but well quite different to what we have try before (we'll have to try the rest tonight) Note: Levi restaurants close very early (about 20h or 21h) so if you are late you will probably miss it Price: well when you compare to the restaurants near by the price is fair and good even if i was not expecting something this good for the current price. (i compare to real restaurants not fast food!)

We had a dinner with big hopes becausse of positive comments. We were dissappointed, because taste of food was nothing special. Reindeer meatballs were dry, a bit hard and did not have the typhical good taste of reindeer meat. Sausage was a bit better, but at average level too. Pannacotta was maybe one of the most tasteless pannacottas I have ever eaten. Service was not fast but quite polite. We will not visit again.

The restaurant is cute with a local dialectal touch, and the food here was good, esp the reindeer steak and hamburgers (liver was a little dry and nothing special), but service was slow and not engaging. The waiter was kind enough, but waiting time was too long and not enough attention from staff, for example offering drinks etc. Average service, which is a pity. When it comes to speed and service, this restaurant might be able to learn a thing or two from the guys running the “Mono” restaurant by the south slope… completely different concept of course, but super efficient service regardless amount of people in the venue.

It was the best and the tastiest food in my life 😍 We ordered a reindeer soup, reindeer calf’s liver and reindeer steak. Traditional saami family food with its history. Nice place, perfect food and service! Highlight recommend this place ❤️👌🏼!

We were made very welcome and ate delicious food. The reindeer meat served is of high quality (compared to other experiences) and the dishes are cooked with talent. The Finnish red wine is a surprising discovery and the 'homemade' blueberry ice cream elegantly ended this pleasant evening. The bill is a little high but justified by the quality and human approach of this restaurant which has its own farm and maintains traditional Sami cuisine.

We dont know about the food but based on the servise I would not recommend this place! They dont take reservations and we were ready to wait in a bar next door but the waitress would not wellcome us back. We tried and a large table was allmost done but when asked from the servant she said that they are full allready, but the customers told us that they are leaving. Witch is totally differnt that she said before. Maybe they did not want US in for some reason? Or maybe thei earned enough for the evening. If you are in doubd go to the nearby PIHVIPIRTTI.

Not a relaxing experience. First queue for the table. Tasting tapas were quite ok, but small. Then an hour's wait for the main course. No bread as an apero, because we ordered starters which included bread, except for the gluten-free which cost extra. For the slow service they didn't even apologize. We didn't even want to order dessert because of the aforementioned bad experience, unfortunately.

Firstly, unless you are a group of 6. You can't reserve a table so you may have to time you visit right! There was only 2 of us, so they managed to find us a spot straight away. But it was busy and people were coming and going all evening. The restaurant has a nice feel to it and the staff welcoming. We wanted to try some authentic Finnish food, and we are glad we chose Niliporo. I had the seafood platter to start and my OH had the morel soup. Both were lovely, but especially the soup! For main, we had the reindeer stake of the day and the slow braised reindeer. Both were outstanding. Whilst the reindeer was lovely, the star of the show was the traditional potatoes and veg that came with it! The cost is as expensive as a restaurant in the Alps and I thought was good value for money considering the quality of the food we had.

Excellent Lappland food in friendly and cosy athmosphere. Particularly, the reindeer tapas was a nice experience. The main courses reindeer shank and reindeer sausages were tasty, too, and for sure did not leave a hint of hunger.

Highly overrated restaurant given the two dishes tested this evening: the meatballs and the reindeer stir-fry. The stir-fry was probably frozen and not seared at all and therefore quite bland. The meatballs were raw inside and probably also frozen. Maybe we didn't eat the flagship dishes, but even so, the accompaniments were also not up to par (starchy puree certainly not homemade). Dessert (chocolate cake) also had no particular interest. I am particularly surprised by all these glowing reviews of the restaurant…

Good reindeer dishes. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Great service too. Also conveniently located in Levi’s town centre near the ski slopes and shops. We had slow cooked reindeer with mash potatoes and reindeer steak. Nice and quality food.

In this restaurant you can taste reindeer in all possible ways. The starter with reindeer tongue, heart, salami, sausage etc was very good. As for the burger, however, the sauces almost entirely covered the flavor, which was a shame. Price ok.

We had reindeer burgers accompanied by Finnish wines (red and white). The burgers are just delicious. Finnish white wine is worth discovering (Ainoa Aho). Top aperitif too. A good address (be careful, like everywhere, alcohol is not cheap) and also pretty because it is well decorated. If you come with 6/8, ask for food in the cabin. Too cute. You can also buy reindeer meat, skins and antlers (that comes naturally. It’s natural). In short, I recommend
