Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Koliba is great place where you can see traditional Slovak architecture, wooden equipment and try traditional Slovak food. I highly recommend you Goodness of Koliba- 4 traditional Slovak food (sheep cheese dumplings, a pan- baked pie by Litmanova, dumplings with sauerkraut and potatoes pies) for 5,80 Eur. This food was prepared fast and was very tasty.

We ate and stayed at this establishment on our recent visit of Stara Lubovna.
Restaurant:
The interior of the restaurant is very nicely furnished and full of traditional Slovak artifacts all over the place. Interesting and very tastefully done.
The menu is very extensive and it took us some time to choose what to eat. Because we stayed for two nights, we ate there more than once.
The food is traditional Slovak cuisine, lots of meat and potatoes, some fish, but they offer some meatless options as well.
We liked their "Bryndzove Halusky", very traditional Slovak food.
The staff was very attentive and service was good. I never ate so good and cheap!
ROOM:
They have few rooms above a restaurant, where you can stay overnight. The rooms are pretty simple, but clean and very well maintained. You can enter the accommodations from inside of the restaurant during business hours, and they have a separate entrance when restaurant is closed. The rooms are quite cheap too.
Very interesting two nights we had here. Highly recommended. Nice experience. Definitely be back!

The second time here after skiing in Litomanova. Enjoyed the food, drink and atmosphere. It is Slovak but it is more precisely Ruthenian.
Nice decor like folklore museum. Prices are also very friendly.

then stop here! We were truly impressed by the tasty quality of the food at amazing prices. We purposely tried authentic Slovakian dishes and they were great. We stopped on the way the Lubovna Castle and then onto Spis Castle
