An amazing salmon with shrimp topping. One of the best meals that I have had in a long time. It also came with French fries and a salad. Great job!!

From the opening Prisco Sour to the causas and other entrees, our stay was full of sureprises! Don Manuel explained each plate and offered cultural information behind each plate. Definitely coming back!

Don Manuel and staff help us personally, the food is plentiful and very well cooked and presented!! For a family of 12 the time was reasonable, Everyone enjoyed their diverse plates. We will comeback!! Thank you!!

Although the place was basically empty we sat on the balcony facing the largest "plaza" in Central America. I felt transported in time. Soooo relaxing!! The ceviche was awesome as well as the mojito!

We tried it because it was well rated in reviews. Only ones there, on the edge of town. Wine way overpriced (COP90k+, vs COP40k for a nice Malbec at our upmarket hotel!) so just had juice and beer. Food plentiful and not nice, each left...50% on our plates. Chicken with garlic tasteless, in creamy sauce with boiled egg. Mine a big pile of of spaghetti with bits of chicken & veg. & soy sauce. Very disappointing.More

One of us had the ceviche, the other ordered papas in cream sauce with boiled egg. Both were great. But what really made it a sweet meal -- besides the very short from our hotel -- was the kind proprietors. Chef Don Manuel Rivera wlaked...through at one point and wished everyone "Buon provecho" (good appetite), and after the meal sat and chatted with us...about Villa de Leyva, about tourism trends, about Peru... His lovely wife handled the credit card check out, and asked to be sure we enjoyed our meal. I would love to dine with them again.More

Small humble place, but the experience is an absolute win! Away from the noise of the Plaza Mayor, served by Don Manuel the main chef owner and master mind, a fantastic experience with the Tacu Tacu with seafood and Jalea de Mariscos. If you want...a good Peruvian experience come here.More

It has been an accident that we came here:) we had a trip with friends around Colombia and Villa de Leyva was on our path. Walking around streets we bumped into the Sazon Peruano. First idea was just for couple of Piscos, but looking at...the ambience we wanted to come back for dinner. And it was super delicioso! We've tried of course ceviche:) and each of us had taken special dish of this place. Fresh and tasty, full of flavor. Just ask for an advice from the owner - good time is garanteedMore
