We love this place. Excellent coffee, warm and friendly. Just like your own personal social club. However short our time in France, we make a point of getting to le bar du Midi.

We popped in here as they were having a music night, good group. Each Saturday thought out July and August. We only had one drink each, as they were expensive. I had a small glass of rose wine, and they put ice in it!!! My husband and son had a beer, not large and they were in plastic cups. Might... More

Visited many times and have drunk lots of coffee here, really nice friendly place to stop for coffee, cake or a light meal. Jean-Christophe and his staff are so welcoming and it does get quite busy and often tables are reserved, but I've always managed to get seated. Clean surroundings, even the toilet which is quite a novelty in France!... More

This is just the most wonderful little bar/restaurant in Riberac, a place to sit and watch the world go by! The staff are just delightful! So friendly and accommodation and obviously well loved by the locals, both French and English. They serve a good size of coffee as well as alcohol and some amazing salads, filled baguettes, croque monsieur, desserts... More

This is a must if you visit Riberac market on a Friday morning. Just a bit removed from the market with a pleasant staff and great coffee.

We visited one afternoon and relaxed for an hour or so. The beer is really fresh and cool, and the coffees are great. Also they serve some wonderful pastries, unfortunately not Gluten-free

I have been coming here off and on for 30 years. It's never changed and is popular with the locals. Good service, at a busy lunch time, they couldn't do more for my frail dad making sure he had a seat inside. Food is simple but good. It's no frills, the lidl of cafes in riberac.

Casual lunch with the ladies. Nice food served promptly and good service. We were able to sit under a canopy and watch the world go buy.

Very busy little cafe/bar, especially on a market day (Friday). Six of us stopped for coffees or beers, terrace very crowded so much squeezing between tables to get seated. Friendly service, decent coffee, cold beer, reasonable prices. Food looked good and portions generous.
