Food was perfect. But bryndza is not only sheep, but it is mixed. And you can pay in restaurant ONLY cash, I don’t know why, because in bakery and milk and cheese shop it is possible pay by cards.

We have visited Salas Krajinka after ice hockey match . Very welcomed stuff , stunning food and scenery around. Clean facilities. Definitely will be back soon. We'll done all guys.
No bank card accepted and no facilities to withdraw a cash.Sad story for 21st century. We couldn't get any food and and drinks and there is nothing we can buy if u don't have cash.
Stayed for a lunch when going by. Great food, personal and traditional Slovak atmosphere. By that I mean classical wooden cottages, wooden statues, animals like sheeps and nice nature panorama around.
We had a good impression of this restaurant but unfortunately owners fell asleep in 19th century. At the entrance there is a sign that it is not possible to pay by card. We left disappointed as they don't provide facilities to withdraw cash either.
we stop for quick lunch on our way, but restaurant didn`t accept bank cards, so we leave, we just bought some products from bakery
We stopped by for dinner on the way to our hotel. Great local food and lots of free animals around for the kids to play with. Recommended.
Were travelling from Zilina,is just on the way before Ruzomberok.Place is visible from the main road.Amazing food,people,service..whole experience! From the restaurant through glass can be seen live donkey and sheeps.Service very good, fast.Had to share a table, nice also.Good way to meet a new people.Tripe soup was...full of tripes, chicken soup had a flavour.Traditional halusky tasted great.Chicken and hungarian goulash were very good portions.Sweet pirohy also great. For 4 people we paid 42 Eur.Great price for the quality.Outside is a bakery and cheese shop. Also amazing.Highly recommened. Will be back for sure.More
Beautiful place and area around. Super tasty traditional food, friendly staff even at 8pm. I highly recommend this place.
Visited Krajinka several times a year in last six years. Once a great place with superb sauerkrat halusky (dumplings), but nowadays they are just average. Looks like they lost a good cook and replaced with not that great one. Currently you can`t pay with card...in the restaurant, had to go to Ruzomberok to the ATM, really customer friendly... (you still can pay with card in the nearby shops for now). Next time we will visit other places nearby. FYI: If the restaurant is full, you can wait few minutes, all their food is already prepared so you don`t really wait, it`s like fast food speed.More
There are few animals, a playground and great pastries. Worth a small detour if you in the area. There is also a restaurant there, but we haven't tried it.
We made here just a quick stop for a lunch on out way to High Tatras. It was super packed. People would even wait in a queue for a table. For me, food was 6 out of 10. Nothing really special. Just average. We had...some soup, traditional slovak dish Halusky and some salad. Prices are ok. There is an open farm with chickens, pigs, ducks which is nice to walk there with kids. You would have also few options there to get yourselves some fresh cheese and some cake. But you have to queue for everything so you would spend good amount of time waiting. We had as well coffee there which was really bad. Overall experience was quite nice. If you are not in rush, stop there and enjoy the atmosphere.More
The food is nice. not expected to have wow. requested a soup for daughter, it was very spicy, however in menu wasn't indicated that its spicy. waitress didn't understand a word in English. No air conditioning. my kids took their food outside (there is a...place for sitting on fresh air) they told them that its prohibited to take food outside. definitely would not come again in summer, only if they will install AC.More
We have tried this restaurant with my family and we were really pleasantly surprised. Fast and kind service, perfect local food... I could recommend lamb ragout. We will stop by for sure next time.
That was breakfast time and we ordered Slovakian traditional dumplings with quark cheese (not to say the portion was very small and contained 5-6 pieces) and it instead we obtained half potato and half quark cheese dumplings (see a photo)...Whatever. All the caps and some...of the plates had cracks and scratches, it was disgusting to drink from them, not to say it’s dangerous (see a photo)...Then we ordered pastry with plumps and discovered that they had pits (stones) that obtain amygdalin, a poisonous compound and could become lodged in our throats. However we said all this to a waitress and she gave us a symbolic discount. Whatever. I will never ever come again to this place.More
