Small taverna offering the full Greek experience. Do not expect exquisite food or too much cleanliness, but enjoy the Greek way of live. Worth a trip to have lunch or dinner. And you can put the boat right in front, until the ferry comes.

Belos is small and friendly and does really good cooking. If you are on Kastos then this is the place to go.The zucchini balls were the best we tasted in Greece served with ample portions of Tzatziki to complement and the moussaka was the best I have ever tasted.

We arrived in the afternoon to reserve a table, and met the loveliest staff who were so eager to offer us a table by the seafront and who wanted to tell us all about the dishes on the menu. They also offered us hot showers, which was much appreciated as we were staying on a boat! The food was excellent... More

Good quality food and clearly the place to eat, since most of the long-term boaters and locals seemed to eat there. Good wholesome food and massive portions! One Greek salad we had as take-out lasted us nearly three days! Not typically Greek, but the pork escalope was superb and perfectly cooked. Never made it to dessert as everything else was... More

This is a quay-side taverna, with nesting swallows, run by Dimitris. He is a charming and helpful man, who served us a very nice breakfast, advised us on the weather and waved to us as we left the port. Next time we will eat dinner here as well. David and Deborah

Belos is a small family taverna on the harbour front of the small, peaceful village of Kastos. Belos delivers simple but fresh and tasty food in unpretentious surroundings. There grilled food is superb, my favourite being whole squid stuffed with feta cheese in a lemon dressing. The atomosphere is relaxed and very friendly. For yachties it has the best showers... More
