A beautiful setting for a meal. The food was wonderful - fresh and tasty. The staff were attentive, helpful and very friendly and all spoke fluent English. A great experience.

Restaurant is located up the hill above the harbour - but well worth the effort. Family run restaurant. The cooking is done by the mother and the auntie. Service by the daughter. Perfect english spoken. I had the stuffed aubergine - beautifully prepared. My son had fish soup which was delicious. Great care taken in all the food on offer.... More

We had a wonderful dinner last night. The views compares favourably to any in the Greek Islands. The food was delicious, home prepared and the service was very attentive, informative and it felt as though we had become part of a generous Greek family for the evening.

It is a bit of a walk up with a confusing sign but just keep going left!! Wonderful views and great food. Family run business and everyone is happy to come and chat. Added bonus is a washing machine so if your beach towels need doing then take them with you. Even in July take a cover up as it... More

The view is well worth the steep walk up to Chef John's. We visited here before the real heat of day kicked in so the walk wasn't too bad. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and our order taken (omelettes, juice and coffee). The food was tasty, coffee was strong and the OJ was freshly squeezed all just as... More

Worth the climb up the hill from the harbour. Staff lovely and food good. If you need it you can use a rudimentary shower free before you eat, I found that useful after a hot days sailing. The view from terrace is fantastic.

A beautiful spot to have dinner. The staff are absolutely lovely and the food is excellent. If you are visiting Kastos you must eat here. Sometimes they get a bit busy when sailing flotilla holidays are in the harbour.

This restaurant bears out the adage that the better the view the worse the food. We had a chewy slow-cooked lamb, served with ketchup. The service was perfunctory and impersonal. Next time we will eat at the quay-side. David and Deborah

This Taverna has an amazing situation on the hill side overlooking the village. Our past experience has been excellent. Good food, pleasant helpful service. Our recent visit was very poor. The food was expensive and mediocre, the service was from a unsmiling sullen young lady with an American accent.
