We had lunch there. The setting was nice and we sat outside in the garden overlooking a cliff and a river. It's just a short-distance drive from the Padaric Cave and in fact, we went to visit the cave right before lunch. It was a very enjoyable lunch. We stayed there for 3 - 4 hours.

The location of this restaurant is absolutely stunning! When the sun is shining this is where you want to be. The service was good but the food was even better. The variety of food on offer was very good and the pricing was very reasonable. Would recommend and will be returning.

We stayed one night at the hotel on our way through France and ate in the restaurant. Staff are excellent and the food was divine. After two weeks of eating in Spain which was good it brought it back to us how good cuisine can be in France. A restaurant with a Michelin star - it really told.

Wow this would have been an amazing dining experience is it had not been so expensive. The dinner was excellent but did not justify the cost. Truly dining at La Terrasse in Meyronne is much better value and a lovely venue

We ordered the Belcastel Menu: four plates plus an appetizer, cheese plate and dessert. From start to finish our meal was wonderful. Memorable dishes and flavors, and on top of that, a lovely setting on a patio under shade trees and full of flowers.

The restaurant has a pleasant terrace, but unfortunately there is a road that separates it from the river bank. Our dinner did not at all justify the restaurant's Michelin star award: from the banal amuse-bouche and the unimaginative starters, to the highly disappointing combination of fish with a "meaty sauce", pretty mediocre chicken and boring desserts. Even the bread was... More

Lovely setting. Very good service. Food was generally excellent and imaginatively prepared. However quite overpriced somewhat mitigated by lovely setter called Elliott resting head on lap in hope of occasional morsel.

I hesitate to criticise a Michelin starred restaurant, and it may be a matter of preference. However, compared to the others I have reviewed on this trip, this was disappointing. The service was not especially friendly or helpful, but the food was not to my taste. Which chef thought fish with an oxtail gravy was a good idea? Had to... More

The cuisine is excellent here, the choice is good with regional dishes being featured. The wine list is also impressive, whilst the service cannot be faulted. Well worth a visit.
