What a little gem. The courtyard out the back is vast, has great tree coverage for shade, and a small play area for kids. The menu is simple and affordable. Reasonably priced - not the cheapest, but not fine dining prices either. We ate well,...including a kids meal - which was amazing - fish and vegetables and a huge portion of ice cream. It was a ridiculously hot day and the staff did a fabulous job. They speak English well, and are super friendly. A lovely little spot - thanks for lunch. I recommend the local beer. Very yum.More

We were recommended to try this family-run restaurant in Creon, a short walk from where we were staying. It was a Sunday lunchtime so we were somewhat limited in the choice of places to eat. From the street, the restaurant looks like a small smart...average modern restaurant but as we were lead through to the back garden, it opened out into a bright and airy almost Mediterranean terrace with plenty of space whilst still allowing an intimate feel to the tables. There were sun shades that kept the August sun off our heads. The food was simply superb, rather large portions and really well presented. We found the wine list to have a good selection of local wines and being a wine buff, I was able to find an excellent Bordeaux wine to go with the meal. There was a reasonable selection of food a la carte and a reasonably priced fixed menu. The staff were very friendly and prompt with the service. The food and wine was the star though. I'd say this was a mid-priced restaurant so don't come for cheap eats but the service/food and atmosphere allowed for a pleasant and relaxed lunch. We booked again for the following Friday evening to experience some of the food accompanied by live music.More

Given a nice day the very pleasant garden is matched by the high quality of the food and the frindly service in this family restaurant.

This restaurant lacks charm and the food was poor however the service was very nice. I would not return but as there is nothing else in the area, had little choice.

We were staying about half an hour from Creon, and had read the reviews and thought we would try it for lunch. The fixed price menu was amazing, and the house wine very good.It was packed with locals, and we were lucky to get squeezed...in.The atmosphere was busy and friendly, and we managed to make ourselves understood, with quite poor French! The star of the meal was a side of goats cheese ice cream..Wow! presentation was good, and we decided to come back for dinner the next night. The food was equally good, though the prices were considerably higher, Once again, it was packed, though seemingly this time with tourists, and there was even an English couple on the next table. Presentation was flawless and we really enjoyed the meal. Out of season there seems to be less choice of restaurants in this area, but I am sure it is buzzing in the Summer, when the garden is openMore

Excellent service , food , and ambience. They even helped get rid of the "mouches" (pesky bugs outside) with a lit odor emitter. The food was gourmet and tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town.
