The food is reasonably priced and always served quickly. The portion sizes are just right too. Glad I was shown it, now my first choice if I want to go out for lunch.

I used to live in Galgate but somehow had never managed a visit here. Dropped in for drinks during a walk, it's a nice set-up with pleasant service.
At first sight this looks like just another coffee shop attached to a craft centre, albeit one with a very pleasant outdoor seating area by the canal for the summer months. It is a lot more than that though and the lunch menu is well...More
Regularly stop here for tea and cakes when passing. All good quality products. I like to browse round the craft items on the way in or out. There are some outside seats and tables near the canal if the weather is good.
You can choose from a cup of coffee to a full meal, and eat in or out next to the canal. A lovely place especially in the summer months. We've called in a few times, which in itself is a good recommendation. Worth a visit.
Coffee and scones were very good. It is in a very pleasant setting and would have liked a walk along the canal but didn't have time. Some interesting items on sale but expected more craft items
Called in on the way home due to crowds in Lancaster. Served yet another hearty meal hubby having the nut roast which came with three veggies roasties and a yorkshire pudding. I had the homemade tuna bake which was beautifully served in a little dish...More
