The food, especially the crepes tasted wonderful. The owners were really friendly. Remember to book a table in advance. It is popular!

Just next to the hotel we stayed in so very handy from that point of view. Very reasonable priced - for the two of us, including a bottle of wine and a beer the cost was £54.46. The food was excellent, but as in most French restaurants, be patient with regard to the service it will happen.

We drove all along the coast from Courseulles, looking for a place to eat before boarding the late ferry from Ouistreham. We ended up in Lion around 6.30 and waited in a bar/tabac around the corner (v good and cheap glass of white) for this restaurant to open as it seemed the best option. We were, embarrassingly, in as soon... More

Typical of the hungry wanderers, imagining the perceived typical village cafe, unfortunately now seeming like a long ago memory, and getting to the stage of lets go in here. Nice greeting and shown to a table by the waitress, orders given drinks enjoyed and food served. Spot on really. Galettes were fresh and substantial, prices reasonable, and staff and owner... More

Great to find a restaurant like this open on a Sunday. Not a large or particularly special menu but the food was good and not expensive.

The restaurant is OK for moules frites, but rather lacking in atmosphere. It was a wet evening when we visited with not many customers.

The owners spoke reasonable English and the food was quite tasty, especially the banana split. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very nice food, good choice. Try the Irish Coffee Ice cream. Friendly service and well presented food. Ate there twice and they'd had a run on the second day but kept us informed as to which dishes were off menu.

We were staying in nearby hermanville. We were advised to try this restaurant. We took a salad, being veggies and asked for advise on the wine. Red, and it was very tasty with the food. Bottle of water was brought without being asked. Same with extra bread. Coffee was good as well. Friendly atmosphere, not expensive.

You can enjoy your moules frites in many places in the Normandy, but try this at Le Goeland with their Roquefort cheese sauce! Great taste and a great ecperience...
