We were a table of 9 for Sunday lunch, the restaurant was really busy, but obviously well run. Clean plates from everyone is always a good sign. The children thoroughly enjoyed their roast dinners. This is the 2nd time we've been and would definitely return.

Just simple pub food, done to a fantastic standard. I say simple, but that can't be true because so many places seem to struggle. But not here! They've created a lovely atmosphere in which to do what they do best- namely fill their customers bellies with great tasting food. Their steaks are just incredible.

Do not expect gastropub cuisine. What you will get is good local food well presented, very tasty and at a good price. The fact that the car park is usually very full, especially at lunch time speaks volumes.

Thought it must be good cos when we pulled into the car park it was packed and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, we had 3 courses and the taste of everything was amazing. We will definitely be returning. Bar & waiting staff very friendly. We were the last to leave but weren't pressured to go. Highly recommend.

A group of 10 of us had a delightful lunch here today; pre-ordered so no long wait which was good. Lovely warm atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. All meals were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. My Welsh Lamb (slow-cooked with a red wine sauce) was simply delicious; accompanied by ample supplies of new potatoes & well cooked veg. Very good all... More

We needed a venue midway between Swindon and Llandovery for a family get together. Found The Hall Inn online and we booked for Sunday lunch. We arrived and were met by friendly and helpful staff. Our table was booked for 13.30 and we enjoyed our wait in a busy but cosy bar area. We sat down and were served our... More

After hearing several recommendations, we had Sunday lunch here for a family get together in November and I am super excited to go back in March this year for a friends birthday. The food was absolutely stunning, the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was packed out throughout their service time and there was a... More
