Really delicious from start to finish. The vegan chocolate cake and pistachio pastry are sublime. Huge portions, I had hummous with flatbread and salad followed by chicken couscous. Two huge chicken pieces with a smaller amount of couscous, perfect but 1 piece was more than...enough for me. Fantastic flavours and juices to mop up the couscous. And then the mint tea, heaven.More

We came down from the hills where we were camping. Our first beer in days! We ordered them and then thought 5 minutes later - do they not do tapas with your beer here? Two minutes later the waiter came out with an arm full...of food for the few tables that were drinking. Jacket potato with tuna salad for two. AMAZING. The Taste, the quantity and the service. Top stars!More

Pleasant, clean and very busy with the local residents which is always a good sign for us tourists. Food better than average and the experience for us was enhanced by a very good and friendly English speaking waiter who also managed to direct us onto...the best road out of Orgiva to find the Orgiva Tea Garden which, under normal circumstances, would have been difficult to find.More

The bar is mainly where food is served, it is all very average fare. I never saw the restaurant open,or anybody in it. If you enjoy a table not laid, or wiped prior to you eating then perhaps this could be for you. There just are...not enough staff to cope. The management sit at the bar, and just ignore guests, they choose to eat and drink right in front of anyone waiting to be served. All very unprofessional, and quite frankly poor practice. When going for a planned / reserved meal I expect the table to be all prepared, and this was just not the case. The table we had was sticky, and had flies as it was warm, with no air con switched on. The wine is ok, when you eventually get served, but the tapa dull and just plain lazy. They resort to a bowl of nuts!.... The bar man does not systematically wipe tables,or lay tables, cutlery comes out with the food. There are no other servers. The owner / manager has a bad attitude, and does not accept complaints well.He is unfriendly. All in all disappointing food, and slow service.More

We visited here after seeing all the positive reviews from Spanish people and weren't disappointed. Loved this place, we kept going back, the food is superb, you can tell they have a very good chief who cares about the food he prepares. The staff are...also very friendlyMore

We had a meal for two and thought it was pretty poor. I opted for a special of steak with vegetables. My fiancé went for the chicken. Despite hers costing 8 and mine 26, the only difference was the meat. I understand that beef is...more expensive, but I would have expected something slightly different. The potatoes it was served with could only be described as soggy and tasteless. As if the chef had boiled them a few times, then decided to put them in his mouth and finally spit them on the plate. The vegetables were on a par. Frozen mixed veg then boiled - what can I say?! It was more school dinners than haute cuisine and I would definitely not return. However, the wine was delicious! So at least something was good!More
