Just finished our dinner tonight and we all agree this was amongst the best from every meal we have had in years coming to Tuscany. Maurizio and the chef Claudio delivered a wonderful experience. The food was truly excellent and the service and storytelling made our visit very special. Grazie Mille to Taverna Bibbiano! We will return.

We stopped here as part of our Tuscany tour. We didn't get to see the menu, or make our own meal choices, so this review is based entirely on a meal that was chosen and served to 45 people. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a plate of bruschetta, cheeses, and meats at each plate. It was served... More

Stopped at this taverna as part of our day tour from Florence to towns in Tuscany. It is situated on a hill that overlooks the Tuscan countryside and provides great views to San Grimigano which was our next stop. The meal provided consisted of an entree of salami, bruschetta and tapenade followed by a pasta main course and panacotta for... More

We had a wonderful meal and great sights of San Gimignano. Sit on the patio, it's wonderful. They have a good gift shop and sells wine and olive oil.

We were on a Ciao Florence tour of Tuscany and lunch was included for our 70+ group of people. It included a starter of cheeses and salumi and bruschetta, then followed with pasta/meat sauce, and dessert was cantuccini (cookies) and vin Santo. We had 2 other wines in addition to the vin Santo - a chianti and local Gimignano white... More

Worst dinner ever! Slow, mostly raw meat, overpriced, it was cold outside (ok, that's not their fault), lots of smokers, crying babies, zero ambiance, and the slowest service ever experienced! We left before they served dessert. The interior looks like a little girl's dollhouse with pastel chandeliers. Just try something else.

We were actually trying to find a Michelin-recommended restaurant on our way to Rome, and most of them were closed for lunch. I'm not sure why a restaurant closes for lunch in high touristic season, but we're in Italy, and this is they do it. So we found la Taverna on the way and... what a discovery! They have a... More

After one day traveling in Tuscany we stopped to this place for dinner. The place is nice only for the view to San Giminiano, but the food and service is most terrible we had travelling in Tuscany. considering the restaurant was half empty the waiters took our order after 15min of waiting and it took more than one hour to...
