There are combinations you can ask for, and taste all the region flavors: Seco de Chavelo, Majado de Yuca, Carne Aliñada, Tamalitos Verdes, etc. The restaurant is located three blocks from the plaza de armas (main park of the city).

Given the high prices (starters and mains mainly between PEN 30 - 40 or higher) we have expected by far better quality. We ordered Ceviche and Causa de Cangrejo which were both ok but not great. We had great experience with Ceviche and Causa in Lima - nevertheless, we had high expectations as the North of Peru is also well... More

We went there for lunch, the restaurant was a bit dark. But the food were delicious. Cold Chicha Morada was perfect for hot day, until we ordered 2 jars of it. Wifi available.

It's mostly a local food restaurant, so if you're looking forward to getting a taste of Peruvian cuisine this is definitely a good place to do so... If you want something a little spicy try the " tacu tacu " which is basically "arroz Moro" (Cuban) but spicy as I said, but not to much anyway. Everything I've tried from... More

If you are looking for Classic Peruvian food in Piura, this is the spot. After dozens of trips to Piura, I am disappointed if I do not eat here at least one meal per trip. Walking distance from the Plaza de Armas and the central hotels. Get there early if you want a seat for lunch. It fills up fast,... More
