Can highly recommend Herlighed. Pleasant service and delicious food! No problems or complicated feedback in connection with allergies. Here, the restaurant knows its own ingredients well and easily replaces and adapts according to the customer's needs. A wonderful and tasty chicken salad with large pieces of fried chicken fillet. The entourage who ate the fish soup were also very satisfied. Here you get a lot of tasty food for the money. Would love to come again and highly recommend :)

This place have differnt kinds of sandwiches, salads and pies. We had a tasty sandwich with eggs and parma ham, together with a nice bottle of white wine. You order at the desk and the bring the food to your table. You can sit inside, in the conservatory or outdoor if the weather is nice.

"Herlighed" is providing beautifully early services. The staff is highly competent as well as welcoming and attentive. Lovely sandwiches, soups and salads may be enjoyed in their peaceful facility, placed near the harbor in the center of Grimstad. The lovely city of Grimstad provides several places for culinary experiences. Herlighed is one of my favorites. Due to their early opening hours I very often start my working day in their environment.

This is the best place to eat in Grimstad when you want proper food made from scratch. The salad, soups and warm dishes are great and not too expensive. Nice and cosy place with a big porch to sit on. Despite the many guests coming and going, its very clean and tidy.

We were driving along E18 at the south coast of Norway one morning on our vacation this June, when time came to take a coffee break. Grimstad was nearby, so we went there and drove on the street along the sea shore. There we found just what we had been looking for - a lovely coffee shop/restaurant Herlighed! We only had ice cream and coffee, which were wonderful, but they also displayed a selection of really nice looking bakery products. Too bad it wasn't yet lunch time for us either, as this would have been good for that also. The location is really nice, and the premises recently renovated, or new. The restroom had very large picture of some local celebrities, and our teens had great fun checking who they were :-)

My daughters and I came for coffee and locally made pastries. The coffee was hot and strong, the pastries were fresh and bountiful. We loved people watching and listening to the Norwegian banter. Very cozy and welcoming place. Wish we could come here every morning to start the day right!

Cafe with good Food. Not your typical place for dinner - the menu is too short and simple. But great for a warm snack or warm lunch.
