Most delicious food, so we eat two times in this Restaurant. Very friendly and funny staff, great service, cozy location. Definitily worth to go there!

Food had good flavours and the service was very friendly. Portions were more than decent. With an appetiser or dessert you won't leave hungry as indicated in other reviews. Very friendly staff and suitable for families with children.

One might expect that when travelling to northmost part of European continent, beyond 68th latitude, you would have to compromize something regarding quality of food and service in the restaurants, but actually you don’t. Pirkon Pirtti is an excellent proof that you can get a...gourmet dinner in a comfortable atmosphere and with professional service and even with reasonable pricing. We just had a perfect one including mushroom soup as starter and Lapland trout for the main course and cloudberry parfait for dessert. Everything was super good and beautifully layed out. Pirkon Pirtti has an extensive a’la carte list and these were just some examples. At least the famous raindeer fry can surely be recommended. On top comes the friendly and relaxed service, which is typical for Lapland all over.More

First of all, it was not easy to book a table. You have to call at a certain time frame. Our waitress was having a bad day, she was very impolite and had no idea about the wines. We heard her saying to other customers...that she does not drink red wine and cannot tell anything about the different options. C’mon, you work in a restaurant! The food was quite basic, would have expected it to be better.More

A nice an typical finish restaurant with a good kitchen. We had the grilled reindeer and the reindeer burger à la maison. It was just amazing. I absolutely recommend.

The restaurant was ambient and spacious. Our waiter was male with dark hair, he was really kind! Food was tasty and starters, main course and dessert came to our table fast, though there was a lot of people at the same time. Excellent restaurant, worth...to visit! 😊More

We had a lovely family meal at Pirkon Pirtti. The menu is extensive and had something for everyone, even fussy kids, which is partly why we chose this place. Food was delicious ad atmosphere lovely and warm. Thoroughly recommend paying this place a visit!

Excellent food in a cozy atmosphear. Service was friendly and the dishes were served in a timely manner. It did take some time for the waitress to ask for the desserts.

Our first restaurant in Saariselka. Its worth a try...though its all business,eat and go. And quite strict too...you need to be vaccinated and have proof of it to show too. Has quite a nice view I had my first deer liver....and the salad..portions are quite...big,so,best be up to a large meal! Funny though,i wondered,had i been home,where i come from,what an uproar it'd be,if a guest got served in a chipped glass...ha ha ha. Was fantastic that they have South African wine on the menu...yaaaaay,and its quite goood too!!!More

Excellent food (both starters and main courses) and very friendly service. Slighlty bit expensive, but nevertheless worth every penny.

This is a nice restaurant with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. We ordered the house salad and blinis for starters that both were delicious. We had then the bouillabaisse and chicken pasta. The fish soup was nice but the pasta dish was a bit bland...without much flavors. Overall a recommendable place to eat in Saariselkä.More
