Riekolinna hotel restaurant looks not just a little but quite much eighties. Dont be fooled, they seem to offer some pretty decent food there. We had caesar salads for starters. That was a very good dish. Especially their sauce which was prepared from small little...fish (muikku) instead of anchovis was great. I took their hambuger which was well beyond avarage. My wife took daily steak which she praised to be one of the best i her life. That is very much said from her. The greatest minus was little cold potatoe pure. For my experience this is the second best choice in Saariselkä (Laanilan Kievari being the unparalled champion)More

Sure, it’s a bit pricey but so is everything in Lapland. I ate here twice during my skiing trip and was perfectly happy. If you’re looking for tasty food with no quirks, this is your place.

We can not recommend this restaurant. It took 1.5 hours for the main course to be served even though there were only six other guests in the restaurant. The food looks and tastes good but was not hot when finally served.

We found this restaurant walking the town. Ordered off the menu, was good but not outstanding. Saw a Buffett off to the side but we had assumed it was for the Russian National Ski Team as there were many tables reserved for them.

Stayed two nights three days here at Santa's Hotel Tuntori, where the Linnasali restaurant caters for the guests meals and reception. This has been the most expensive holiday we've ever had. The hotel is little tired and at best 2 stars. The Linnansali is just...about OK.... it's a good job we didn't come here for the food and drink or accommodation. It was the Santa experience and venturing above the arctic circle at the Arctic Centre nearby. Which was fantastic. The food has been terrible albeit we are half board as part of the package and this tends to be the lower end of the market, but Linnansali seems to have really pushed the boat out at being bad. The drinks have been very expensive at €25 for the cheapest bottle of red that I wouldn't wash my car with. The beer watery and fizzy at €6.90. We were a captive audience and I think they bank on. I don't think we will ever be back here as the magic of Santa will be gone as the little one gets older next year, but I like Lapland (would like to come back here but book it ourselves next time ) and I'm fascinated with the Scandinavian and Sami culture. We did get to see the Northern Lights even at the centre of the resort.....that was pretty special for me .More

We had breakfast one morning and a buffet dinner in the evening. Both were ok. No gluten free options, but there was bacon, frankfurter, scrambled eggs and cereals. All in all i would say if you have breakfast included then go for it. But for...dinner, make the errort to work a few hundred meters down the street. just come out the hotel and turn right. Lots of good places!More

Always a famtastic choice of fresh and tasty food, both hot and cold. The buffet style really suited us as a family and the kids really enjoyed being able to choose and serve themselves. Great service too!

The restaurant offer abundant breakfast and buffet. The quality is good yet no gourmet. A la carte offers more options and the food is more carefully prepared than in the buffet. Reasonably priced.
