Had some cappuccino and sweets with the family. Personally I had waffle that was so hard it was almost impossible to cut with the plastic knife provided - so quite average. The reason I gave the place poor marks is their service. The door to the toilet is controlled by the button from cashier's stand. First time I tried to... More

The coffee is as usual in Italy. Better than almost anywhere in Europe. The sweets are so so and randomly priced.

We stopped here for a fortifying cappuccino and cornetto before visiting the cathedral and were pleasantly surprised. We sat outside, which offers a great view of the side of the cathedral, and had a delicious cappuccino in the proper Italian style - ie the cup was not too big as is often the case in trendy bars nowadays. The cornetto... More

I have been travelling throughout Italy for four months. Generally I find the service warm and friendly and helpful. NOT HERE an extremely rude wait staff ruined what was otherwise a decent coffee and ice cream. He then went on to make my visit as uncomfortable as possible. Very childish behaviour. There are many other places in town I recommend... More

After visiting the cathedral we decided to get a little dessert. We stumbled across the best dessert we had on our entire Sicilian vacation; the cannoli cream filled graffa. What's a graffa you say? Only the best doughnut in the world! Made with potato flour the graffa is a fried doughnut that isn't heavy and melts in your mouth, combine... More

This has got to be the best bakery in Monreale, try just about anything there and you are hooked.I try to get there as much as I can. My family craves their pastries and so do I. Cannolis are great, one of my favorites, the filing isn't overly sweet, and the outer shell is flaky and crisp.

In spite of terrible reviews in here, our expirience is pretty warm. We took a break at Mirto's after visiting the stunning Cathedral and it was really pleasant. Coffee is delicious and the guy who works there was really nice. Prices are normal, nothing so heavily disturbing about this place. And you are sitting in front of one of the... More

Avoid this place it's a turist trap. We ordered pasta 4 different types and all of them were made out of a box. no one should sell pasta ourt of box or thin can in italy. It's a shame. If you can not make pasta than don't put on your menu
