Fantastic restaurant overlooking the sea, located 5 minutes north ( by car ) from Port St Charles on the north west coast of Barbados Housed in a 17th century fort, this family run restaurant has been a local favorite for the past 20 years. Reasonably priced by Barbados standards, the menu is varied with an emphasis on fresh seafood.

Gorgeous setting , shame the fish pot was low on fish !! Catch of the day was barracuda , which 2 of our table ordered , out came salmon !!! When we sent one back as my sister in law didn’t like salmon , she...had trouble ordering as there were no mussels and only fish and chips , we proceeded to order the Caribbean curry with prawns which was delicious . They returned to remove our wine bucket and dessert spoons and bought us the bill , they clearly wanted us gone . Such a shame , won’t be returningMore

We had booked for lunch so decided to spend the day on their beds on the beach. Great Menu. The food, drinks and service was perfect. The restaurant was full and had a good atmosphere. What a lovely way to spend the day.

Another fantastic meal at the fish pot to celebrate my husbands birthday. 7 of us were dining and had the most relaxed wonderful afternoon eating fabulous sea food. The day was made even better by afternoon drinks on the beach watching the sunset and then...live music. We cannot wait to return!More

We had a great day out at The Fishpot last month. We arrived at the beach around 12 and had fun outside until our table at 2. I had booked and noted a special occasion and we were given the kind of tiki house to...one side which was lovely. Great menu. Importantly for me as a non fish eater - it isn’t just fish! Lots of choice such as burgers, pastas, salad etc. Kids were well looked after with a great kids menu and they loved it. Our party had mainly burgers and fish. All lovely and great service. They will also bring drinks to you on the beach. We had intended to get the bus back to Holetown to save some money … but then we saw the speedboats. Fishpot has a resident boat with Captain Dwayne at 200 USD per hour. Unfortunately he was booked out so we collared another party who arrived by boat and managed to get their boat to take us back to Holetown for 130 USD. An incredible ride seeing lots of fantastic houses down the coast. This is more than a restaurant it is a great day out! Only negative would be there is quite a lot of rubble in the sea around there but still a lovely beach.More

We attended early evening and I'd highly recommend as we had stunning views of the sunset. I had the tuna tartare followed by the lobster risotto, both of which were delicious.

We visited the Fish Pot several times for both lunch and dinner when we were last on the island in 2017 and we thoroughly enjoyed it every time, so it was the first booking we made on coming back to Barbados. We were greeted by...some friendly faces at the door, a few of those we recognised from our last visit 5 years ago. We then started off with a drink on the deck with an acoustic guitar playing to the side of us. It’s a lovely way to start the evening if you have time to arrive a little earlier than your reservation. When we were seated at our table we noticed the owner was checking in with a few of the tables which is always nice to see. Between us we had the grilled market fish (Mahi Mahi) and Caesar salad with shrimp as a main. The food was delicious as we remembered, there just wasn’t quite enough of it - my fiancé was disappointed with having only one small potato with the market fish and we ended up ordering a side of sweet potato fries as we figured we would be hungry. Crème brûlée to finish was tasty - very alcoholic! Overall the Fish Pot continues to be a lovely spot with welcoming staff. The setting is beautiful and if you can grab a table around sunset the views are really special.More

We stopped for lunch on a rainy day. Well, the food absolutely brightened up a otherwise gray day! The food was very good. We had fish and chip, catch of the day (mahi-mahi) and Curry chicken and fish. Everything was excellent. Service was also very...good and very efficient. Worth a visit!More

We had been coming to The Fish Pot almost since it opened, when we first stayed at Little Good Harbour, so were curious to see how it has grown (enormously!) and whether it maintains its cachet (yes - for the most part.) Clearly the restaurant...remains popular as it was impossible to book a dinner and after many attempts I was finally able to book Sunday lunch only. Service is still friendly and the food remains excellent. We missed the old emphasis on flying fish, prawns, lobster, etc. - but enjoyed our meal, which would not be out of place on any menu in any world city. It was our last full day in Barbados, so we did not mind the crowd (which I imagine could be annoying) or being seated almost on top of the beachfront tables or the somewhat slow (but very congenial) service. You can choose to eat in the dining room, where it is a bit less chaotic but lacks the view). We highly recommend The Fish Pot.More
