We lunched at the restaurant at Cobblers Cove, whilst the simple meals that we enjoyed were perfectly adequate for a luncheon menu, the service was very distant and the staff unsmiling and apparently unapproachable. So different from our hotel at the Coral Reef Club, more about that later. The prices were in line with anticipation and we ate and left,... More

Easy. Courteous staff, very good food, decent wine list, lovely ocean side location, fairly priced, quiet and civilised. High standards without being formal. Will happily go again.

Great setting and wonderful menu with attentive staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our fine dining experience here . The food was excellent and the wine list extensive . It is expensive but that is expected on the west coast

We live in Barbados and have been to Camelot multiple times over the past year. Will Oakley (GM of Cobbler's Cove where the restaurant is located) has created a nice fine dinning experience. We often go on Friday's for "Caviar Night" where they serve five different roe as a part of the fixed price meal. The other nice thing about... More

Seriously by far the loveliest place to dine anytime of the day! We're rather biased as we almost live there, like a second home ! Have been to almost every BEST restaurant in Barbados but always come wondering why we left in the beginning . Staff all lovely too, there are the odd slip ups but very few places are... More

This has always been one of our favourite restaurants. On arrival they had no record of our reservation which we had made in person two days previously. My husbands rack of lamb was so minuscule it was unbelievable. My meal of catch of the day was very average and the crushed potatoes were tasteless, all in all very disappointing. To... More

This is really difficult to review as the food was ok it was fine dinning the service was impeccable but there was not much atmosphere. It felt like we were the only people in there. Some of the food was so sophisticated it was to much. I had lamb with lentils but the lentils over powered the Lamb. I just... More

We ate here several times as guests of Cobbler's Cove hotel and were never disappointed. The service is consistent, food is first class and dietary accommodations are made on request. Beautiful views over the ocean - book, you won't regret it!

Lovely location in this Relais and Chateaux hotel, with very friendly efficient staff. Bajan executive chef and team producing International and Bajan cooking. Seafood nights with "caviars" vodka, and oysters and champagne on a Friday. Lobster Sunday lunches. BBQ Tuesday's. Most enjoyable dining.

Description
At the heart of Cobblers Cove and in a culinary league all of its own, the Camelot Restaurant offers island-inspired, delicious modern cuisine with a distinct Bajan twist. Recently awarded the highly-coveted 'Restaurant of the Year' award by the Barbados Hotel & Tourism Association, The Camelot is recognised for creative gourmet cuisine and impeccable restaurant service. Under the direction of Michael Harrison, the only Barbados-born Executive Chef cooking in a 5 star setting on the island, Chef Michael trained under Michel Roux Jr. At Le Gavroche in London, before working at a number of world-renowned restaurants and returning home to Cobblers Cove in 2012. The Chef and his team source as many of their ingredients as possible from local farmers and fishermen, to make sure only the freshest, most flavourful ingredients are used to bring the true taste of the island to Camelot guests. Cobblers Cove's reputation for excellence in cuisine has earned the hotel its much coveted 5 star recognition from the prestigious Relais & Chateaux group, whose emphasis on food and wine has set the culinary bar at the highest level.
