We sailed for two weeks in Corsica and we have done the full tour of the island. We searched for the best restaurants each time we came into an harbour. We definitely found here. Excellent menu and the best value for money. The service was...great even for an evening with lots of tourists. We were 5 people and all of us found it the best among the 2 weeks tour.More

Full of beautiful people, but don’t let that put you off. We had an exceptional dinner here, with beautiful service as a bonus. None of us was ravenous, so we went light with the vegetable tart as an entree; fabulously light and thin pastry containing...traditional French flavours of tomato, olive (with an olive oil ice cream that divided our table, some thought it too sweet), great fish courses, courgette flowers stuffed with spider crab in a spider crab shell reduction, rascasse in a bouillabaisse reduction, and then knockout desserts. You need to book for dinner, but well worth it.More

This restaurant is located in the marina. We sat in the terrace and enjoyed the beautiful view. We were welcomed with foie gras and a piece of raw swordfish with mustard. Both were delicious. The menu offers plenty of options. For appetizer, we ordered the...scallops with green beans, artichokes, onions and lime butter. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. I asked for the sea bass roasted with mint oil, with a smoked farmhouse cream, bok choy and two pieces of tempura red shrimp accompanied with mint risotto. Everything about this dish was delicious but the mint risotto was the perfect complement for this dish. The fish was tender and juicy and the risotto was extraordinary. My husband had the suckling pig confit with red wine and ceps pasta with mushrooms. He loved it. The waiter recommended a white wine from Corsica which went really well with the food. Finally, we tried the “peach” with white chocolate mousse and peach gelato. This was a very creative dessert. It looked like a peach but it was hard white chocolate shaped and colored like a peach with white chocolate mousse inside. This dessert was extraordinary. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We won’t forget this amazing culinary experience. You should not miss this restaurant.More

La Gaffe was suggested to us by our hotel front desk and it didn't disappoint. On our first visit the waiter who spoke excellent English talked us through the menu options and we chose the 4 course inspiration menu which was excellent. All paired with...glasses of wine recommended by our waiter. Second visit just as good with both my wife and I going a la carte. The chef previously held a Michelin star at another resturant but gave it up to open La Gaffe, al I can say is he'll be sure to have another one at La Gaffe in due course!More

High class restaurant in a quieter marina location overlooking the boats with good service and food. Great location to dine in after a walk around the small town and shops. Recommend

Still can't decide how good this place was. It certainly had a good menu - although the daily specials were the same both times we ate here! The first time we went we arrived with no booking and they squeezed us in provided we were...out by a certain time, meaning things were always, understandably, going to be a little rushed. So we booked for our second visit and this time is was completely the other way with incredibly long waits between courses. Food was very good (as it should be at the price) but not exceptional. Great location for people watching though...More

Five hungry scandinavian gentlemen enjoyed a fantastic meal. We all chose different entrees and main courses which all came out with impeccable timing, beautiful presentation, wonderful aromas and great tastes. What I'm trying to say is that whatever you decide to eat at LA Gaffe...you'll be satisfied. The wine chosed by my friend was a local star, although a touch too mineral for my taste. The head waiter, Alexadre Carré speaks fluent English and does his job with a wonderful, understated dry humor. He's destined for much bigger tasks!More

The staff is extremely nice. The food there is different from all the usual top restaurants in Corsica. I liked the Truchon tableware. And for once, a restaurant with no blasting music where you don't have to shout to your friends. A regular in St...Florent, I'll certainly go back.More
