Fine food and great service

Next to Grande Anse beach, a surprise to find this gourmet restaurant. Fish is excellent and choice of dishes a change from most local restaurants. Well worth it if you are looking for something slightly more upmarket.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. DOWNRIGHT RUDE.

STEER CLEAR IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN! While the food was indeed good (although duck should be cooked medium-rare and not like a seared tuna) , I have a 14 month old baby and was told that 'this is restaurant' and that he should not have...thrown any food from his baby seat (that we brought with us). I was mom shamed. My son was quiet and well behaved the whole time we were there, it was past his bedtime and he dropped some of the food we fed him. You would not have been bothered if you were sitting next to us, in fact he was smiling and waving. But the waitresses let me know that every other child of his age would not have dropped food on the floor. And I picked most of it up. Was supposed to be one of the few nice meals we had our on our vacation. And it was ruined by some very judgy waitresses. If you know how to get babies to eat with fork and knife and not drop food, I would prefer a tip rather than be informed that we are not welcome. Oh and this after a €105 bill.More

Worst restaurant in Guadeloupe. Having spent over a month here I've never met such unprofessional service people.

Best in grande hance

Food is very very good. Best there. I went twice in 2 days. Not cheap. Service is good. View is zero as it is on the street and parking. Recommended.

Good local food at the Grand Anse beach

This restaurant was recommended to us by the receptionist of Bonheur Caraibes, our resort, and the recommendation proved fully justified. Although the restaurant was rather crowded, the waiter for the drinks and the waitresses for the food were efficient and friendly. As a starter we...had crispy accras and boudin noir which was spicy, but not yet hot. As main dishes we had fish tartare - fresh and well-prepared - and grilled fish with vegetables from the wok and linguine noodles - delicious. There was no room for a dessert, but our neighbors had a chocolate cake and gave a very satisfied impression.More

Fabulous dining experiance

Fantastic, quaint French restaurant at Grand Anse Beach. This is the only Restaurant open in the evening at this beach. Excellent food, reasonably priced, we would go back again!

Very Good Choice

The food here gets five stars: Good menu, Excellent flavours, elegantly presented and nicely served. It compares well with five star restaurants in most other parts of the world. Staff also get full marks for pleasantness, helpfulness and efficiency. Cost is reasonable for what you...get, though not inexpensive. One would have to be a churl not to appreciate this place and we will certainly come back more than once in our remaining time here. The decor is what pulls the rating down: It is fine, entirely appropriate for a beachside restaurant & bar. But nothing to make it exceptional, which is what five stars are for.More

Excellent

Very friendly waitress, excellent food and service. Our fish was served on a heap of lovely crunchy veggies, everything we saw served looked wonderful. Recommended.

mixed feelings

The food here was outstanding. And while our palates left happy we somehow felt like we would have been much more welcome if we could communicate in French. The staff was not rude, just a bit cold in comparison to the other places we visited...in Guadeloupe.More
