perfect restaurant for lunch on the beach. we had broiled red snapper with salad. the restaurant had a menu in english which was helpful. the food was very good .

Conflicted on this one on approaching this restaurant the waitress bade us to sit at the table & chairs on the beach rather than in the restaurant. However whilst waiting for our order to be taken the older lady noted that it had started to...rain & we were at the one table without a parasol. We were then taken inside. Wish we had stayed there as rain was minimal but nevertheless appreciated the concern at the time. It is interesting to note however that they then put up a parasol & seated another couple. My wife ordered a single course, her main & my starter came at the same time somewhile later my main arrived just as I was giving up hope of seeing it. Interestingly there were two tables each with a single individual that we believe were probably locals who were attended very well.More

This is a (grand)mom and pop operation. After taking a pretty good sample size over a week, I think it's the best place I ate on either side of Guadaloupe. Absolutely great grilled fish, smoked chicken, and fish court bouillon. The sauces were light and...very flavorful. We were very impressed with the way the French and East Indian spices and cooking styles overlapped. Really, "down home" stuff. Service was awesome. Very friendly and helpful if you want to try something new. Don't skip the peanut ice cream.More

Maybe our best meal in Guadeloupe, overall – and that's saying something! When we arrived there were no available tables in the restaurant or on their terrace, so they set up a table just for us a bit further out on the beach! Typical local...Creole cuisine, but thoughtfully and perfectly prepared, with attentive service, in the most informal setting possible. Don't miss this one!More

We stumbled in here after walk along the beach. Staff were friendly and we're accepting of our attempts to speak limited French. Had accras and sorbet for pudding. Both were tasty and service was fab. Full meals on other tables looked good. Would highly recommend.

A simple, traditional restaurant on the beach with very pleasant staff. The grilled fish is absolutely delicious and the view very nice.
