Relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, friendly staff.

We had excellent pizza and drinks for dinner at Cherry's. The atmosphere is casual, with a couple of seating areas, mostly outside on a terrace. The staff was very friendly. We were there on New Year's Day, when many other nearby restaurants were closed, and so Cherry's was very busy. But the staff, and particularly the (owner?) pizza cook, were really hustling and never lost their cool. We had to wait maybe a bit longer than we would have otherwise, but drinks were brought quickly and our order was taken, and we were told that things were busy and we might have to wait longer than usual, so it was no problem.

We first visited Cherry Pizza in 2016 and we were enamored by the food and the hospitality so much so that when we finally returned to Guadeloupe it was on the must-do list to return for dinner.... we liked it so much again we ended up eating there twice on this trip. The food is phenomenal across the board. We have so far tried 8 different pizzas from Cherry's pizza and they were all top-tier and exceptional. The final night we ate, my wife had the filet on the hot stone and it came out perfect. We were surprised at how good the meal came out considering it was a pizza restaurant, but then we remembered that Cherry's Pizza was a masterclass of gastronomy through and through. Missing out on Cherry's Pizza when in Guadeloupe would be a huge mistake! They have some of the best food I have ever had, regardless of where it is from. We will be back, Cherry's! Also, they have some English speaking members of their staff, which was very helpful for us as our French is lackluster at best. A perfect meal and a great experience!

Great food and service.

Good food and very friendly staff who unlike other places were willing to speak English. This is something that a lot of other places have struggled with. Both the fish (marlin) and entrecôte were prepared on hot stones with excellent sides. Especially the home cooked fries. Highly recommended places in the Deshaies area.

Beautiful food and service

Fantastic family run business with delicious food. We visited twice during our stay and were completely satisfied both times. The wood fired pizza is authentic and the Tuna on slate stone was excellent. Service was sweet and charming. Highly recommend.

Once... when everything is closed at the carnival... but... just if we're too tired....

Takeaway pizza and lasagna. Very nice staff, family at the top but... As for the dishes.... We are very far from the standard of pizza.... Even Guadeloupean... 🤣 dough too thin and not very garnished, Alsatian tarte flambée style , and lasagna full of indigestible tomato coulis.... Borderline vegetarian..

We've been here twice, once we ate pizza, very good. The second is a nice, amazing fillet Rossini style, accompanied by local vegetables and sauces. The staff is very friendly and kind and the choice of wines is spot on. No negative notes highly recommended.

Great Pizzas

Enjoyed the food here very much. A friendly place with affordable dining options, lots of pizza choices plus lasagne, all cooked on wood fire and the pizzas all hand made. Cocktails were great, highly recommended.

Was expecting to order a pizza but they also have pierrade with either beef, lamb or fish. Having never had a fish pierrade we decided to take that and what a great choice it was! All topped off with a very nice welcome and service.

This was the best family meal we have had so far in Guadeloupe. Service was excellent and although the restaurant was busy along with the take away food service they were very fast. I think it’s a family run business which makes it have a great all round vibe. Pizzas were all excellent 👌

A taste of Italy

An evening as a couple in Deshaies, we wanted to change the Creole dishes. Our choice fell on this wood-fired pizza restaurant. What a nice surprise, I chose the lasagna: delicious! Efficient and very friendly service! We will come back

Great pizza, friend staff, lovely place to eat

Called in by chance and had a lovely meal. While only here for a week I suspect we will be calling back before we leave The staff are super friendly and happy to help. The service was spot on, quick but never rushed despite being super busy. Fresh, oven baked pizza. Thin with a crisp edge and just the right amount of topping.

Amazing meal!

We had a delicious meal which was also served very efficiently. I had the streak on the stone which was the best meal I have had on Guadeloupe! Earlier in the week we had takeaway pizza and lasagne which was also excellent. Very friendly staff who spoke English.

Very good restaurant without a doubt one of the best in Guadeloupe Exquisite meat dishes on slate Succulent pizzas and very large choice Super friendly staff, we went there twice in a few days and we intend to return However, we are Parisians and therefore demanding by nature

Great place, lovely atmosphere!

Really loved this place! Restaurant itself has a really charming vibe, lovely terrace to sit out and enjoy your meal amongst the palms. Food was lovely, really enjoyed all our pizzas. Not only the classic toppings but some interesting Caribbean twists too! Staff were lovely, manager was very happy and friendly, the waiter we had spoke perfect English but was happy to let us speak our bad French too!
