2 Days ago we found this food truck/small restaurant. We ordered fries with chicken, but after an hour it turned out our order went lost. The staff apologized, gave us a free starter (fried sweet potatoes, GREAT!) and prepared a nice meal.
Today we went...back for the traditional Bokits: deep fried dough with lots of food inside. FANTASTIC!More

Thank you ! And once again, sorry for this mistake. Hope to see you again !
The place for Bokit.
Open Mon-Thu evenings for Bokit which not only taste great but are the best bargain on Guadeloupe. Fri & Sat there are more menu options that are just as good value. We loved the place and went back again and again....Some basic French and finger pointing is all you needMore

An absolutely great place to the try local Guadeloupan speciality, bokit. It is a van by the roadside, but there is covered seating area with tables, chairs and brightly coloured tablecloths. The bokits are super tasty (ask for the créole sauce, which is a refreshing...mix of peppers, spring onion and other mysterious ingredients which come together to create a delicious whole), enormous and very good value for money. We had the complet steak haché and the complete poulet (chicken), which we would recommend. Complets always include eggs and ham, alongside chosen main ingredients and vegetables. You can also buy various cold drinks and crêpes, and on Fridays and Saturdays, sweet potato fries are available too.
Would recommend getting there around 6pm when the place opens as people phone in their orders to come and collect. The place can look empty, but you’ll actually be in quite a long queue. Parking is free and next to the venue. Overall, a great place to stop off - would highly recommend!More

We would like to thank you for this beautiful and effective comment. Thrilled to know that you enjoy your bokit!
Thank you very much!
After a swim and watching the sunset at plage de La perle, this is a great place for an affordable dinner. Open as of 6pm, there seems to be a steady stream of locals and tourists stopping for a bite. We noticed some people were...calling in their orders ahead of time. Be prepared to wait a while for your order to be ready. They serve a variety of bokits (fried bread sandwiches) and drinks. The complets comes with eggs and ham. On Fridays and Saturday evening they offer grilled meatsMore
