Interesting little fishing village. Only needs an hour stopoff. Accessible by local bus or taxi. Air con very refreshing on a hot day.

Portuguese egg tarts – small flaky tarts filled with creamy, lightly sweet egg custard – are one of my favorite desserts. But they’re not all created equal. Some are just plain bad, most are somewhere in the middle, and only a handful are memorably good....More

There are many Portuguese egg tart in macao but in my opinion this is the best. It's not too buttery. Unlike others, you only can half one piece and the 2nd piece may be too much to digest. tip : you can get discount for...More

I went to the garden cafe for a coffee and egg tart. It didn't disappoint. The egg tart is delicious and well worth the trip. Recommended.

I have eaten egg custards in the UK. but this Macau version is amazing - in flaky pastry shells they are a ttreat for the palate, and definately "more-ish". The cafe is new, and very attractive; great staff.
