Husband ordered fish and it was thin and overcooked with the tiniest three Canarian potatoes to accompany it. I ordered fish stew and it was ok. Disappointing in an area with so many great restaurants.
Excellent food in a lovely setting in the Marina. We started with galic prawns followed by the seafood cazuela and the steak. All were very good, especially the cazuela. A little bit pricey but worth it! Service was good, and friendly, and we were offered...a shot of honey brandy at the end of the meal. We got there just before 7pm and it was fairly empty, but it filled up quite quickly after that so good to book ahead. A fabulous meal in a lovely setting, definitely worth a try.More
Today’s fish straight out of the Atlantic right outside the restaurant was great. Fantastic view over the harbour and the fading light by sunset. Well recommended!
This restaurant, I can heartly recommend, seriously! A very big (!!!) thanks to all the Crew for an UNFORGETTABLE evening!
Fabulous place with a lovely atmosphere, great service and very fresh and tasty food and wine. We had looked forward to dining waterside at Puerto Morgan for some years, and eventually got back there, El patio Canario did not disappoint. We will be back!
Great service, very familiar and professional. Food exceeded our expectations. We ordered very tender loin steak, very nice fish and very tender squid all with chips, veggies and rice. Dessert was fantastic!!! Highly recommended !!
Probably my 20th visit here and only gets better and better. Perfect good, perfect drinks and perfect ambiente.
We came here for lunch on recommendation and it did not disappoint. We had octopus, garlic prawn’s, padrón peppers, bread with the garlic sauce and tomatoes. We ordered the paella for our mane meal which is said to be shared for four and it feed...all six of my family. The service was great and the drinks came really quickly. Our paella was served at the table so we could tell the staff how much we wanted and if we didn’t want anything in the dish, we were also given the option to have a mixed paella witch had fish and chicken. My dad did say it was a bit expensive but overall it was great.More
Tucked away in the marina this totally authentic Spanish Restaurant more than hits the spot for not only location but absolutely stunning traditional Spanish food of exceptional standards and value for money. The sign of a top class Spanish restaurant is the amount of "Reserved"...markers there are on every table come mid day - and here we were looking at an all but full house - so backing up the saying "make good food... and they will come" certainly reassured us that we had made the right choice - no need to stand on the street and beckon customers in - let the reputation do it for you. the furniture of wooden seats and vine leaves (albeit fake but who cares) lends it to a really rural feeling even though you are near to boats and the sea. the 2euro starter of a warm freshly baked roll, homemade alioli spread and a tomoto that looked well past its glory days - but when you cut into it revealing its sumptuous juicy inners is more than enough for any starter - absolutely stunning - even though I couldnt resist a racion of Iberico ham. For main I plumped for the Seafood Casserole - well we were right next to the sea and wow it didnt disappoint - a large succulent piece of Tuna, several more of hake along with Calamari, king prawns, small prawns, mussels and clams all swimming in a thick tomato sauce and presented in a terracotta bowl scorching hot. Absolutely delicious and so much so when leaving I went in to congratulate and the thank the chef of such a wonderful creation - he had done the ingredients more than proud. so if in Moghan - skip the tourist restaurants with pictures of their plates and head to where the locals go because you wont be disappointed - you will be writing a review the same as this.More
Wonderful owner/our waiter who’s patient and helpful for choosing the dishes. Thank you very much for the most unusual fish with shrimps in the sauce. It was delicious. Also, this resto is in a very beautiful place on a pier.
This was the worst meal my family have had for a number of years. They forgot our drinks. The service was really slow. We felt ignored. They forgot our olives. Bread was burnt. We were so disappointed as this was going to be our finest...dining night out. We just could not wait to leave. It was really expensive.More
If you like Fish make sure you give this place a whirl... We had the Sizzling Prawn followed the Fish Casserole, both of which were absolutely delicious... Staff super Friendly, I would 100% eat here again! Nice Touch to give you the bottle of Honey...Rum to drink after your meal too :)More
Antonio and his team are just unbelievable. Trust them, give them a price per head and you will be blown away at the quality of food, particularly fish that they will serve. If you visit an island you must eat their food. The fish is...so fresh it tastes sweet, the service, just perfect. Absolutely our favourite place to visit. Muchas gracias, and see you in September Besitos Sarita e John xMore
This restaurant was very average. The service was terrible, very slow and painful. The food was average also. Very over priced as well. Good location but not worth the money and shocking service, never again.
