On our first night ever in the Canary Islands we wanted to eat some local fresh food. After reading reviews on here we chose El Capuchino and we had a wonderful evening. We ordered starters of Canarian salad and Canarian potatoes, then the mixed fresh fish for two. Our waiter immediately said he would strike off the Canarian potatoes because... More

My husband and I visited El Capuchino last Sunday as we are staying in San Agustin. If you are a fan of fresh fish this place is for you. Ordered grilled sole, no sauce. My wife ordered fish of the day off the bone along with a bottle of Lansorate dry white wine which we shared. The sole was exquisite... More

Food was good but nothing special. Had a fish fillet of the day which tasted good but I have tasted better. Nice little restaurant in Puerto de Mogan and the prices were ok.

Recommended to us for great paella and they didn't let us down - excellent paella, really good prices compared with local competition, and engaging and entertaining waiting staff. Will definitely be going back!

Hello barnhols. Thank you for dedicating us these words and for your appreciation. We put a lot of effort in the preparation of our dishes as well as we prepare them with fresh local product. In this case, the paella, local fresh fish from the sea to the fires. We hope to see you soon. Best Regards More

Nice small restaurant, menu needs to have more English translation and some Spanish dishes will sell more if they have English transalation.

We ate a here several times. The variety of food was good with a more traditional range of dishes on the menu. Staff were attentive and with good humour. Choose a whole fish from the chiller then try the padron peppers, a wonderful starter. Wine and food prices were reasonable, every meal a true delight.

We went for lunch and our first choice was not available and we asked about another and were pointed in the direction of the catch of the day although it was not clear initially what this would be and we had to persist a little to find out. It was tuna and a very good choice. What was quite apparent... More

We had the "grilled white fish" which was excellent! It was served with canarian potatoes. The tapas we had as starter was above average (we never found any really good tapas in Puerto de Mogan). Again, this was best fish restaurant we experienced during our week, and was also recommended by staff at the hotel Cordial mogan Playa. Dan&Eva (Stockholm)

If you and your family like fish the mixed fish is a great choice to share. This has a big selection of the best available fish at the time. The house wine is very cheap . This is away from the harbour just before the bridge but still a busy restaurant.
