My pasta salad was mixed up with the potatoe salad and then I was called stupid because I apparently did order it? And no I didn't. Because why would I order something I'm allergic to, like potatoes??? Long story short she ignored me then mixed...up my order and then another waitress made a change of salads. Also their talking behind the counter is more like yelling and they're making weird animal noises as well. Wtf is going on here? Been coming here the whole summer, and the young waitresses have been super nice and polite and now this old rude waitress?More
We stayed at this hotel in Kuressaare old town. In the cafeteria, we had fast breakfast. Service was great, good Lavazza coffee and tasty cake!
Tasty desserts and they have a coconut milk so they made my fave latte:) also they have a Happy hour-50% discount for bagels(etc) from 6pm:)
This cafe has a lovely courtyard as well as indoor tables. It is situated in a great street and the staff speak English and are helpful.
Best cake choice in town. Very good cakes and pastries. The cafe itself is a good place to sit and relax.
I was hunting for gingerbreads at our stay in Kuressaare and we ended up Vanalinna Kohvik. For our surprise it was also a hotel and a cafe with cosy rooms to sit. One was with black walls inside the big old chimney. Nice colours -...red walls, white candleholders and chairs, yellow wall lamps, piano, antique cupboards. It became one of our favourite places at once. We decided to have a tea and a hot chocolate and some biscuits. Hot chocolate was a proper thick drink. I ordered 1-2 biscuits from different kind from all the jars (which was probably awfully cumbersome for the seller to weigh one by one - but she didn’t complain). One kind was with mint and chocolate pieces, the other with cheese, then lemon biscuits, tiny hazelnut meringues, etc. And gingerbread. All were really nice. Recommend to visit this place at your stay!More
Very good cakes, sweets, drinks and pastries. Enough place even for big group. Very tasty and fresh different sweets, cakes, salads. Dont miss this place ! Lot of retro (before WW II) photos on the walls, dedicated to the Kuressaare old bus park.
Nice little cafe, close to the main square. Large variety of all sorts of pastries and cookies, good coffee, kind service.
If you are visiting Kuressaare, then you just have to take time and visit that coffee shop! Go and taste those delicious rolls <3 Smiling waitresses.
Best cakes in Tallinn with very reasonable prices. The interior is simple and young staff is friendly and helpfull. Try amazing Brita cake or tiramisu cake with only 1-3 euros.
We had high expectations due to the good ratings but unfortunately this place wasn't anywhere near what we had expected. Service unfriendly and slow, and the bread/pastries did not live up to the hype of the previous reviews. Could go back for a coffee, but...most likely we'll give it a miss.More
Been visiting Vanalinna kohvik pretty much every time we're in Saaremaa and we're in Saaremaa a lot. We really like the freshly baked breads and coffe. Also the salats are really good. Would recomend this caffe to everyone who's visiting Kuressaare
Every time I am in Kuressaare J go to Vanalinna cofe shop. They are really delicious cakes and pastries best in Kuressaare. Unfortunately, the coffee is bad and there is no choice
Very good place to get some old fashioned and traditional buns and cakes. And I mean old fashioned in a good way - like your grandma used to make, with love. They also serve lunch and heavier meals, so a perfect place to dine in...at all hours of the day.More
