Friendly service, nice atmosphere and the courses were as expected. The makings of a good dinner. Just that it wasn’t. Kids had to wait for their orders way longer than adults so I decided to feed them with what I ordered for myself. My wine...wasn’t served until I was finished, and ultimately they would not serve the selected wine by the glass even though that was priced in the wine menu. When we tried to order desserts, the kitchen had already closed. No dessert. It was not a busy time but the restaurant was partially operating on a student staff, so that probably explains part of the problems but doesn’t excuse them.More

We enjoyed a dinner out at the cozy terrace. The food was excellent and beautifully plated. The cauliflower soup was so delicious and beautiful. The service was very friendly and attentive. For gin lovers Blakcurrant Collins is a must!

First of all - serving size was surprising, because I was hoping that the dish food amount is quite a small, and I left with full stomach, so I didn't have to visit some fast-food place. That happens only after visiting a la carte restaurant,...when the stomach screams for food. The food amount with flavours were perfectly balanced. 1.) Pulled BBQ duck salad -amazing and full of flavours. -Potato was perfectly cooked. I would leave the potato out and replace it with black kinoa and shake it a bit to give it some texture. 2.) Cauliflower cream soup with/without hot smoked trout -My wife loved it! This is why my wife would definitely come back! 3.) Pan fried catfish -black kinoa is not the best choice, I would replace it with some green or orange puree (basil or sweet potato, etc), because the kinoa was dry, and the texture was hard. 4.) Creamy king prawn and smoked trout pasta -as we know - smoked dish is always with a strong flavour, and it usually scream over the dish. The dish needs some other "kick" to balance the smoked flavour. Sugar snap peas just wasn't the best opponent for smoked trout, I would exchange it for fresh thyme. -Needed more white vine :) 5.) Spicy Pumpkin Latte Café perfectly dosed.More

As we stayed in the hotel, this was an obvious choice for the dinner, since we arrived a bit late that night. Seating outside is a little bit worn. Menu was not big but the dishes were interesting and tasty. A lot of caviar)) And...cocktails were very good (compared to others we had in the town). Their Vana Tallinn Spritzer is for those who want to have the taste of this liqueur but do not like its sweetness)More

The place is nice and well kept. Service level is OK The saddest part is the food. Pretty small menu' and nothing special. Definitely not worthy of a next visit!

Visited during the restaurant week. Waited and hour and a half for our first course and drinks came after 30 minutes. Boys who served us were great and apologized multiple times, but still...not great, a very very negative experience. Especially since we had booked a...table and ordered the food before. Next course came after 45 mins, so a bit better. Dessert then came on time. Food was ok, bit bland.More

Had very nice trout dinner and salad while staying in the hotel connected to this restaurant. Only problem was as a solo diner I was ignored. Tried to get a second drink and dessert and just gave up.

Had a wonderful time with family here. Restaurant is located in the old part of town with free parking, in historic building, that added an unusial feelings and a nice historical touch to our dinner. Absolutely gorgeous terrace and friendly, caring staff. Dishes were served...with a sense of art, local fish was amazing and our daughter enjoyed healthier version of french fries made from sweet potato.More

My wife and I hosted our wedding reception at Arensburg in August 2020. We chose Arensburg over many other venues in Kuressaare because of the following: (i) the proximity of the venue to the castle and the center of Kuressaare, (ii) it is very beautiful...and regal looking (they have just renovated it as well), and (iii) most importantly they have a team of staff there who are incredible. Our main point of contact Kaidi was attentive, provided us with many options for where we could seat our guests and what food and drinks we could offer them. Prices were competitive, service was impeccable from start to finish. Kaidi is a superstar! Having said the above, I warmly recommend Arensburg as a wedding venue. Ps. - my sister hosted her wedding there 7 years ago, and that also was amazing!!More

Enjoyed a delicious late lunch with friends in a cozy outdoor setting . We were greeted by a friendly waitress and shown to our table . Came from a nearby pizzeria , where we were totally ignored so this was a pleasant “ surprise “....My pasta was mouthwatering good ,a generous serving of home made pasta with fresh prawns . Friends risotto with fish was also good . Strong recommendation !More
